Tod man khao pod (sweetcorn fritters) were delicious and had a lovely kick to it. The chicken satay was succulent and very easy to eat with the peanut sauce! The vegan massasman curry with tofu was comforting! I would have loved more tofu in it but really enjoyed the creamy coconut, tender potatoes and crunchy cashew nuts The staff are so friendly here too

It’s one of the most cleanest restaurant we’ve been in! Tables, floors, toilet were all sparkling clean!🤩 foods were very delicious. We were in Phuket last month, but Mama Jinny’s “sticky rice magnolia” was the best. We didn’t like the ones we ate in Phuket. That’s hilarious but also normal because staffs were Thai. i forgot to take photos of the foods we ate as we directly swallowed them :) As we were not hungry then i could think to take a pic of magnolia desert. I can’t recommend enough, we will definitely go again. 💗💗💗

We went here as a large party of 9. It is a small restaurant which feels like a family-run establishment. Food was delicious and the staff were so lovely and kind. I loved my prawn tom yum and fillet duck salad (the latter was delicious but a bit too spicy). We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was a bit slow but that's not the staff's fault, they were very very busy with diners as well as takeaway orders on a bank holiday. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I was also very pleased to see that the owner and all the staff were female!

Mama Jinny Thai Kitchen is Thai comfort food at its finest. Eating here was definitely one of the best decisions we made while we were in Margate. The place was clean and well-lit. The decor transported us to Thailand. :) It's about five minutes walk from Margate Main Sands. The staff were friendly and attentive. They also reminded me of family-owned restaurants back at home where you can just feel so comfortable. The food was just absolutely wonderful. They did not skimp on the ingredients. Our Tom Yum seafood soup was full of yummy seafood and mushrooms. The Pork Pad Khing was also very tasty and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and not soggy at all. We also had mango with sticky rice for dessert. Now this dessert is a definite must-try in any Thai restaurant, especially at Mama Jinny. It was just so delectable. It was not overly sweet. Just the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I got too full too soon... I wanted to eat more and to try their other dishes. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. This is now in our "Must Eat Here list" when in Margate

Delicious thai food. Wheelchair accessible and very kind staff. Our waitress was so nice and really helpful. The dishes looked lovely and everything was very fresh and delicious. If you fancy thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot that you need to visit in Margate.

We really enjoyed the food here. My kids enjoyed the Thai fishcakes and tempura prawns. The Pad Thai was really nice, but admittedly a little sweet and oily....that didn't stop us from ordering take away. The pineapple fried rice was not quite what I was expecting, but still enjoyable. If we go back to Margate then we will eat here again.

I love Thai food, I've been to Thailand, I've eaten a lot of Thai food over the years, Giggling Squid in Brighton sticks out and so does Mama Jinnys. There is the lockdown effect, in that going places after lockdown adds an element, but it wasn't that. The authenticity and the flavours were stunning, the staff were awesome, even the locals having a banter were great. A superb experience.

Honestly the best Thai food I’ve tasted and I’ve been all over Thailand! All the food is homemade from scratch including the pad Thai sauce and all the currys and there is a real family vibe about the place. I went for pad Thai, green curry, fish cakes and spicy sausage as well as sticky rice which is really hard to find in the UK. There’s such a depth of flavour in all the dishes that you just don’t get from regular places and you can tell that they really care about the quality and presentation of the food here. Best meal I’ve had in a long time and I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Lovely authentic Thai food fairly priced, friendly staff, best to book in advance as it can get busy. They also do take out.
