New Street Bistro - Margate - Photo album

Popular lunch spot with a nice outdoor setting. The dishes were nicely decorated and all had some finishing touches of delicious sauces! Decent portion sizes and good qualigy food over all.cocktails were nice and refreshing.staff were professional and friendly. On the other hand, menu appeared fair
Wow! My friends booked the table for my birthday and it was just amazing. Warm, intimate but relaxed atmosphere and the food was just great. My favourite course was the gravadlax - highly recommend. Portion sizes were just right and the man who looked after us was lovely.
We had a perfect Al fresco dinner at Margate after spending time at the Turner Contemporary. New Street Bistro was a highlight of our weekend getaway from London. It’s very popular so you will need to make booking in advance!
Lunch today was served by Lexie, very engaging and happy to explain and offer advice on the menu. We chose to share the crispy squid and romesco sauce, cooked to perfection. My friend had the halibut followed by cheese & crackers and I had the lamb followed by the salted chocolate & orange mousse.
My wife and I Managed to sneak in a booking earlier today and glad we did! This place is amazing 👏 Friendly staff, stupidly Good food in a quirky setting plus the bread from a local bakery is 👌 highly recommended and probably the best food I have had this year 👍
Absolutely lovely evening. Food was some of the best we've had recently. Service was attentive and helpful. The surroundings cosy warm and friendly. I hope they can keep the vibe when they move to bigger premises. Definitely a place to go back.
Absolute gem of a place. The courtyard is cosy, casual and classy and the food is sublime. Small menu, high quality, lovely staff. Definitely going back to Margate now.
Such a nice small corner! Menu is not massive but any choice is a safe choice. Cocktails were great and the aubergines very nice, if only slightly too oily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure!
I don’t often write reviews but New Street Bistro deserves recognition, in my humble opinion. As a local, I first met Tomas’ cooking via his Friday night supper club up at Cliff’s a few years ago now. Friends and I were amazed by the skill and thought he put into his menus. Wonderful staff, brillian
What a gem!! Such a cute place under the sun, almost reminded me of France/Italy. The food is fresh, amazing and generous, I would absolutely recommend the tomato salad!
