In Margate for a swift drink, we popped in then very hastily popped out of an extremely frosty Wetherspoons on the seafront. Wandering up the street, we chanced upon the Black Cat. It was trendy but also warm and comfortable with good music and friendly staff. The beautiful view across the bay as the sun went down was worth the visit alone and the generous complimentary tortilla chips we were offered were a nice touch.
I enjoyed my visit. Good atmosphere in a tastefully decorated space.
It is the most comfortable coffee/tea house I have ever been in.
The proprietor is friendly and helpful.
Vegetarian is available. However hummus is available by special request. :)
