Best curry house in Thanet. Lovely, friendly, welcoming staff, delicious food. Good menu selection and reasonably priced and well portioned dishes. Recommend their Bengal Fish Curry! I have lived here 6 years and tried all competitors, can't beat a Simla

Without a doubt the BEST Indian food in Margate! The owner joked that it was bad to have lived here for over a year and not tried his food. He was right! Delicious, fresh food. Will be returning very soon
I have ordered twice since moving here and both times food was delivered hot by a polite member of staff.The food was tasty and as close to home cooked food ive tasted in a while at a reasonable price, my only gripe is paying for popodoms should be free if spending over £20 plus del fee... Definitely ordering again..
Food was lovely, service wad brilliant. We had chosen to order off the set menu, which is available all week. My wife hates spicy food, but there was food available on the set menu that wasn't spicy but was full of flavour. Would recommend to all food lovers. If we return to Margate I'd definately eat here again!
Question for the owner: when will you open the restaurant again? I miss having family meals there. Always had wonderful food whenever I have visited this restaurant.
Excellent meal presided over by friendly and efficient staff. All dishes we tried were flavoursome, especially liked the king prawn house speciality and the vegetable side dishes. Will definitely be going back.
Simla is our favourite local curry house. Having cycled through 6 or 7 different Indian restaurants over the years I think we've settled on this one. We've had delays lately due to staffing during the pandemic but the flavours remain unrivalled.

First time ordering from this curry place and it wasnt to bad tasting. I ordered it through the just eat app it did turn up 20 mins late but was worth the wait.
My favourite Indian food restaurant, will do bespoke of your choice within reason. Food always very good and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful.
