The Lifeboat Ale And Cider House - Margate - Photo album

Really nice inviting pub right in the centre of Margate. Supporting my favourite charity, the R.N.L.I.Went on a quiet afternoon. The person on the bar was friendly and helpful.Prices were reasonable. The only downside was the ABK lager wasn't great,I've had it elsewhere and it tasted and looked compl
Dropped into The Lifeboat near the end of the evening. Lovely buzz, and ended up losing badly at cards with a couple who we cheekily asked if we could share a table with. Excellent fun. Great place.
Nice little pup full of character, with lots of beer and cider choices.
This pub in Margate's old town hosts one of Britain's best jazz sessions Mondays 9-11pm. Whether swing, bebop, funk or free (relatively), these musicians are great. And the beer ain't bad either.
THe best pub in Margate for me. Went there with my family father's Day and it was a real treat. Charming, chatty bar lady serving the best beer in town. I had a pint of titsey pale ale, it was just superb. Great atmosphere and unspoiled interior.
Great little pub in the old town, great beer, friendly staff. 🍻
Was quiet when I last visited but the bar staff were very friendly, welcoming and talkative. A good selection of beers on tap and cask but an even better selection of ciders
Truly absolutely huge selection of beers, ciders and ales and more than willing to let you try a sip etc... . Lovely log fire that had a selection is stools in front of it so you could get close and warm music on both nights we were there, dog friendly relaxed place, actual sawdust on the floor.
Wonderful pub in a lively part of town
Lovely friendly bar. The staff are lovely and offer a massive variety of ciders
