I've stumbled upon this restaurant today looking for a quick bite to eat at lunch. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had in Thanet - and perhaps beyond. The service is nothing short of perfect, with waiting time close to 0. The chef Deniz is happy to customize any order for you (extra mushrooms and onions on my pizza please!) or to advise you on your order. The prawn starters I've had were wonderful, I've never before tasted fried prawns that were this good. The pizza was probably one of the best I've ever tried, fresh dough, fresh local ingredients, all made in a big wood fired oven right in front of you. I'm not a fan of pizza personally - too much dough and usually way too fatty for me but this was a proper pizza, thin dough, fresh, made the proper Italian way. The drink selection perfect as well, nice crisp dry cold cider. Definitely would come again.
Woodys is a nice place to have a few pizzas and a nice pint of beer. The pizzas are good but I'd say I'd prefer a different kind of base to be honest. My partner really did not enjoy it but i guess I'm more tolerant food wise. I liked it. Staff is very nice and kind and locals seem to enjoy it as well. You have more options than pizza.

Service was nice, pizza was a sourdough beauty and the tapas sides provided a well-rounded mixture of food to enjoy. Interior was very rustic as well. Definitely a great location to eat in the summer as well, seafront is just outside.
Really enjoyed the Tapas- sat in the window and watched the world go by. The food was freshly cooked to order, so hot and tasty. Most welcome after our 8 mile walk from Reculver. Staff were friendly, efficient and left us to it.
The food and hot drinks were delicious and quickly delivered.
The chefs kept the area clean and when they had finished the orders they had they were cleaning up.
I had a the halloumi as a starter and the mushroom and spinach quesadilla chips for mains.
The atmosphere is calm and inviting

Nice place, lovely seating area near the sea, great music being played by a DJ and his vinyl records on a Sunday afternoon. Food was nice, specifically the hummus. We ordered 2 drinks then us and everyone else got given a second round of drinks for free on the house!
The food was tasty and well cooked. The staff were pleasant. There was a long wait at the time as the small cafe was rammed and everyone had ordered at same time. But the time flew whilst we chatted to others who waited. Will eat here again.
Had to wait a little while for food but they let's us know and it was well worth the wait... Tapas was tasty, good size portions that were fresh, the pizza had a great think vase with plenty of topping. There are not many giid places to eat in Margate but this is one, we would go back again for sure!

I enjoyed a fantastic meal here on Saturday with friends, the food was so good we just kept ordering - everything from prawns to meatballs each dish was a delighted and the staff extremely patient, kind and helpful. I highly recommend!
Went there kid free (believe me this is a rare change to go anywhere like this!).
Had a great meal before we went off to a gig. Only a small number of covers and the food was fresh and tasty. This is somewhere we will remember and try to visit again in the future 😊

Went to Woody's for a birthday breakfast. WOW! This was one of the best brekkies we have had in a long time. We chose the traditional Full English. It was very tasty. Highly recommended. Opens at 08.30 and staff were very accommodating and cheery. Well done Woody's 5/5 from us.
