Seaside Kitchen made us a cake for our wedding and it was amazing!! The best cake we have ever had and lots of our guests said the same! Everyone loved it and none of them knew it was even vegan.
We had a flavour for each tier - Eton Mess, Lemon meringue pie and tiramisu. Sarah hadn't done some of these flavours before but she was really accommodating and easy to work with and provided a cake tasting where we could give her feedback or any suggestions (we didn't need to make suggestions as they were already incredible). The cake was by far our easiest decision when it came to the wedding, since we already came every week to pick up a sweet treat. All of the food they make is amazing!
Whether you are vegan or not, everyone should get their wedding cake from the Seaside Kitchen since Sarah is so easy to work with and the cake will be beautiful.
Lovely little place. Had a tuna sour dough sandwich with a chai coffee, we also had the bbq loaded fries and sweet bubble biscoff waffle with ice cream. No complaints, food was lovely, will definitely be going back in the near future. 👍

The lady at the counter was lovely and very kind.
I had the breakfast bagel with soya sausages and vegan scrambled eggs and it was delicious. My mark down is because not all the food was available (I wanted the pulled bbq savoury bubble wrap).
I will definitely visit again when in Margate!
We have had enough luck to visit a few times during our stay in Kent and each time was lovely! Each item we had, savory or sweet was better than the next. We tried the afternoon tea and I particularly loved the sandwiches. I’m excited to go back next time we are close by - a true gem. We also love that’s its family run and the offerings are not boring.
Exceptionally great cakes and other baked goods! They are open fairly odd times which means you can’t get cake everyday ( probably a good thing actually 😅 ). The staff were really lovely and everything is vegan! Highly recommend.
Great little vegan place to chill out. We had the afternoon tea which was bought for us as a Christmas present and it was beautiful! Staff was lovely, only downside is they didn't have any toilets.
Amazing find! The best vegan cheesey chips I've ever had! My non-vegan partner absolutely loved his BBQ jackfruit topped chips. I also had the faux salmon bagel which was delightful. And the banana cinnamon milkshake rocked!! Service was lovely. Thank you so much!
Food was delicious and staff were really friendly. Only downside was there was no burgers etc that we'd gone for, not available. No jam for the scones(easily bought too) and the milkshakes were lovely but not cold. Very pricey as well. Would go back to try the hot food but not sure it lived up to what we wanted.
My partner and I went to Seaside cake parlour in Margate today and were really impressed. We had a delicious vegan afternoon tea which was very well-priced. The person who served our tea was very friendly and helpful. All the food was good but I especially loved the finger sandwiches and the pastry with the chocolate, cream and cherry topping. The vegan scones were great, too. We were unable to finish all of it but were given boxes to take away the cupcakes and brownies for later. Would definitely recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans. The lunch options other people around us were ordering looked nice as well.
Edit: We just tried the cupcakes and brownies we took away from our afternoon tea earlier today and they are excellent as well. Sometimes vegan bakes taste excessively sweet or dry but these were perfect.
So grateful to have a fully vegan place to visit. We went for our first visit today and loved being spoiled by the choice. We had the breakfast bagel and faux salmon bagel, both of which were delicious and would have again. My faux salmon was really fresh and light as well. I had a delicious white hot chocolate as well - not too sweet and reminded me of Caramac/gold bars. We popped over to the patisserie afterwards and got some biscoff cheesecake to take home. Service was good and served in about 25mins, good considering it is such a small business cooking from scratch. Thanks for a lovely afternoon! We are looking forward to visiting again, and tasting the rest of the menu.

Had the best vegan smoked salmon bagel I’ve ever eaten. Staff are absolutely lovely and the place itself is gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again!
Suggested by a friend who visited Margate recently, so didn't look much into the place. Was soooo pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed with the amazing offerings!!! The caramel cheesecake... was one of the best things I've maybe ever eaten. And everything vegan! Also had the red velvet cake for my friend's birthday and an almond marzipan croissant to-go. Will 100% be back 💘💘💘
Went twice during my weekend at Margate, and I was very happy i did. I tried the oreo shake and cheesy pastry one day, and the other day I had the chocolate and peanut butter shake with the double bbq burguer. Everything was delicious! you can tell they have good quality ingredients and the service was amazing! thank you very much for this lovely vegan business, I cant tell you how happy I am everytime I eat in a place I dont have to ask for changes in my food and to have so many delish options! Deff a must to go when in Margate.
I ordered some vegan treats for myself when they enabled the next day delivery and absolutely loved it!
As per suggestion we warmed some of the pastries for 5 minutes in the oven and it was delicious to have it for breakfast, it tasted so fresh!
Definitely recommended.
Came here for vegan afternoon tea, absolutely stunning food. We were stuffed after the sandwiches and scones. Brought the cakes home, great value for money. Was all set up on an adorable cake rack when we arrived. So much flavour and lots of choice. Took a look at their standard menu and I'll definitely be going back for another visit. So much choice!!!
Amazing "minnie mouse" themed afternoon tea. I got this for my mum as a late birthday treat. Presentation was gorgeous and the food was delicious. There was real attention to detail from the little minnie touches and garnishes to the damp kitchen towel over the sandwiches to stop them drying out. I definitely recommend this place :)
Knew of this place but stumbled across it in person when we were exploring margate on a Sunday morning. Had the breakfast bagel, side of cheesy bacon chips and a milkshake. Everything tasted phenomenal and 100% vegan 🥰 will be visiting again and recommending to friends!
