A unique menu, creative and tasty. Our pre starter was delicate and tickled our taste buds. I had a shared seafood platter that included soft shell crab, a spiced crab cake and deep fried prawn all locally sourced with piquant and flavoursome sides. My main of pork belly with a pork curry sauce and rice was also succulent, had levels of flavour and spice with crispy skin on the side.
English wines were a good accompaniment, especially the house white and I’m looking forward to a return visit, perhaps to sample their tasting menu.

This is by far the best food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant! It was my 4th time there and I am never disappointed! Delicious food, wonderful service and good atmosphere! On our last visit we also had the pleasure of live jazz, which made our evening even more perfect.
I adore this restaurant and visit whenever in Margate or the surrounding area. But tonight was my first experience of sampling the tasting menu. The pre starter of the day did not disappoint, and the seafood dish was excellent. I tried hard to learn the secrets of the clove and saffron sauce, but no avail. Although the chocolate platter was sublime, the expertly and perfectly cooked and spiced lamb dish stole the show. The Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass was as good as I remembered. An exquisite evening of fine dining complimented by exemplary service!
