Fantastic atmosphere and great decor (nice to see no velvet wallpaper and Indian music) very modern, clean and relaxed.
Great service from all staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were all incredibly polite and attentive.
Food was amazing, best Indian I have had and similar comments from others at the table !
Price was surprisingly good, I expected to pay more than we did and would of happily done so.
Definitely deserve all the awards and praise they have . Cannot wait to go back again

We have been here tonight for a birthday meal, everything was fantastic - as it always is! We've not been here since our youngest was diagnosed with multiple food allergies, but I emailed before hand to see if they could cater for him and they said yes. They were very helpful and cooked him some chicken nuggets specially :) 1000% recommend to visit, wonderful food and brilliant staff! �����

Just wonderful. Food was amazing, asked for a vegetarian korma which was the best iv ever had. Staff were lovely and friendly, restaurant was fabulous so in all I'd give it a definite 5star rating and recommend to everyone. Thank you for a great night
Each time I go the food seems to be better. The food tonight was the best yet. The flavours were so good. There are some good restaurants to eat at, but this is one of the best

We visited Secret Spices yesterday evening for my wife's birthday... we had, in fact, been meaning to go since it first opened. Our anticipation was not disappointed; the service was warm and attentive throughout and the good was exquisite.
The food was presented beautifully and was both rich in flavour and deliciously spiced without overwhelming the core flavours.
Specifically noteworthy, I had the spiced scallops as a starter, which were cooked to perfection, and my wife had the goat cheese samosa, which unusual but very nice. Also, I had the corbele des fruits, an ice cream and sorbet dessert, which was deliciously light and refreshing.
As an added surprise, the management delivered a birthday cheesecake to my wife, which was a lovely touch...
and a lovely cheesecake �...
Between the three of us, we hardly scratched the surface of what was on the extensive and exciting menu so we will have to visit again.

This restaurant is one of the best I've ever been to. The food is so fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant (and the toilets) are spotless and attractively decorated. There is a wide range of choices on the menu and they cater for allergies and other dietary requirements. Raj and all the other members of staff are always really helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Took some persuading my hubby away from our local Indian, but he’s converted.
Had the sea bass..... delicious! Great service, delicate spices and a lovely chat with the owner.

Secret Spices was recommended by friends and family as the best Indian in the area.... we went tonight and they didn't dissapoint!! Excellent food, staff and atmosphere... we will absolutely visit again while we're in England!
Can't fault this restaurant! Not only is the food second to none but the staff are friendly and well mannered. The restaurant and toilets are spotless and the place looks amazing, complete transformation from the pub it once was. I would 100% for anyone to go here!!

Had a visit here for a meal for the wife's birthday could not fault the service I had the staff curry not too hot very tasty the wife had lamb shank good size and good flavours
A wonderful meal tonight. First time we have taken the children and they loved it, the staff were very accommodating, doing 1 chicken and chips and the other child the lamb shank, which she absolutely loved.
Our food was amazing (as usual).

Having visited Secret Spices on a few occasions now, I find myself finding an excuse to travel all the way from Dover, to Margate just to indulge in their delicious, great value food! Upon each visit, the restaurant has not been particularly busy - perhaps this is helped by me visiting during the week, rather than on the busier days such as Fridays and Saturdays. The food however has always been absolutely top notch.
I've had Indian cuisine from restaurants and takeaways from around the world and I truly believe that the quality and flavour produced at this outlet really does surpass many others that I have tried, certainly, the best I have had here in the UK.
The restaurant setting is classy and easy on the eye, the seating a little worn, but very comfortable, the service - very attentive, the food - DELICIOUS.
I always look forward to making another visit to Secret Spices, thank you for your great Restaurant!
A very popular Indian restaurant in Margate. Often packed during weekends.
Talking about food, it tasted decent. But not authentic. I think they should you better masalas. However, the Poppadoms are really popular here. Must try.

Can't give stars for the atmosphere only because it was a delivery service, we were staying at the Walpole Hotel in Cliftonville. We are sort of connoisseurs of Indian Food, this being our favourite cuisine and having tried dozens of Indian restaurants around the south east. This food was amongst the top five we've ever had - absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked, the balance of heat and spices was perfect. It was delivered promptly, still hot, by an impeccably clean and smart young man. We'd certainly choose this restaurant again.
Ordered the chicken Rohan josh, veg curry, onion baji and mixed starter, secret rice and naan. All were really tasty and flavoursome. The tikka pieces were juicy and delicious. Bonus being halal. The curries were aromatic and cooked well. The secret rice had prawns in and naan was fluffy and soft

Popped in for a meal over the weekend. We phoned to book a seat last minute and they managed to fit us in straight away. When we got to the restaurant it was pretty empty which was a surprise for a Saturday evening. We were seen to pretty much straight away and drinks bought out shortly after, and had to wait the usual time for the food. Overall a decent experience with decent food but not the best we've had at an Indian restaurant. We would visit again if we are in the area
It was date night, so a visit to Secret Spice was in order. The staff are warm and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, not the usual all heat and no flavour curry. Well cooked, well seasoned, really flavour filled food. Not rushed, so time to enjoy our meal and our date. Was all this an expensive night out, well no, not when measured against how much we enjoyed our evening.
Not being local I took a quick look on Google at some reviews to find a decent curry and settled on this place...with zero regrets! A very friendy welcome and excellent service from the staff with excellent dish suggestions.
It was a delight to see the menu filled with speciality curries rather than just the usual suspects as well as lots of fish options which was refreshing. I tried something totally new and was not disappointed, the meat was tender, the sauce delicious and the heat just right. The garlic naan was divine and just the right size. The chick pea side was the star of the show though.
All in all a great experience. A wonderful restaurant, I would highly recommend!

Fantastic evening celebrating Husbands birthday, 🍾 staff are friendly and attentive but giving us time to enjoy our food, great service from start to finish. Didnt feel rushed to finish. Everyone in group said they can't wait to go again...
Attended an Abba Tribute night there. Great atmosphere and staff very efficient and obliging. Food was very good, the menu was restricted due to the entertainment and the need to get an early and late sitting served. But the food was perfect, in fact I think these are the best bhajis I've had for a very long time. Good selection of desserts as well, which isn't always an option in Indian restaurants, the Limoncello dessert was very good.
Lovely restaurant i went for sunday lunch. we had the 3 course special deal for £10.95. Food packs a punch. Drinks reasonable I had a mock tail as this is a Alcohol free restaurant. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely use again.
I've been to Dhaka, Bangladesh when I got married and I came to this restaurant with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to have some Bangladeshi style food as we have been missing it since our honeymoon. We were very happy that the food tasted like homemade, without excessive oil as sometimes happens in other restaurants. The vegetable Akhni rice (byriani) and the mushroom bhajee were amazing! Despite not explicit in the menu with the help of of waiter we found plenty of vegan friendly choices to choose from. The restaurant is very clean, tidy and pretty. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly and we had very interesting conversations.
We ordered a little bit of everything. Mixed starters, naans, couple of different rices and sides. All of it tasted amazing.
The customer service was also very good without being overbearing.
Drawn in by the waterfalls in the windows, if you put that much effort into the appearance of the restaurant then there is hope for the food!
We were really impressed by secret spices, the ambiance, service and food were all 5 stars. The food was very well seasoned and spiced and they were very accommodating with dietary requirements. Lots of vegetarian and meat options.
We will 100% be going back soon.

Lovely settings and absolutely amazing food! Will go back to try other items on the menu since the lamb shank, buriyani and chicken jaffrani was so good. The service was slow and order mixed up, but the guy was good-natured.
Amazing food, good portions. Raj is great, attentive but not overbearing and really friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
