Been here a few times, and it's always excellent – better than any Thai restaurant I've been to in London. It's also very good value and unlicensed. If you're in the area and you like Thai food I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful and even recommended an off-the-menu dish which was fantastic.

First experience of Thai food in this quirky little restaurant, full to the brim with customers, always a good sign of great good! And we weren't disappointed. My husband and I have always gone to the same Thai restaurant in broadstairs for years until we were introduced to the most tasty, authentic Asian food by chef Noi, cooked in the same room, to your own heat specifications. We've found our new favourite place and will most definitely be coming back. And hope to introduce more people like we were by our friends. A very friendly atmosphere, and the bonus of bring your own bottle!

We haven't been to Yama's for some time now so decided to pay them a long overdue visit last night with the family! I had forgotten just how amazing the food here is! Exceptional flavours with every mouthful and the price is unbeatable in my opinion! We certainly won't be leaving it so long until our next visit! Thanks again Noi and Terry!

Now this is going to sound unlikely but here goes. In this little, neglected piece of England we stumbled across some the best food I've had anywhere in the world! Seriously excellent and authentic Thai cuisine. We had a great selection and every item was freshly cooked in front of us and tasted divine. Honestly it's worth a trip to margate to go. Book early as it filled up very quickly.... As you were....

Phenomenal food .. however when ordering spicy food beware - they do really mean spicy! Absolutely loved it, was a tad spicy for my partner so next time will be ordering something slightly less hot. The bring your own drinks policy means that you receive a top notch meal while spending a lot less. I'll definitely be back! Thanks so much guys!!

I was staying overnight on business in Margate again and a local person recommended this place. What a place, the most amazing food...cooked to order and to your taste! Simply delicious. Wonderful friendly staff, can't wait to work in Margate again. Thank you for my amazing, unexpected dinner.

This small and unassuming Thai eaterie on the High Street is somewhere that one should visit. Great food that's freshly cooked and excellent, friendly service. It's BYO as well, so a real bonus!

Wonderful food, served with a warm smile, at this unpretentious Thai spot. Highlights include the spring rolls (the best I've ever had), pad Thai and my current favourite dish, khao pad sapparot. Try it with prawns or tofu... it's delicious!

Best Thai in Thanet. Incredibly friendly staff! The chef in this place is extraordinary! They are always busy in the evening so you must book in advance and even take away can be a struggle because they get so booked up!

Lovely environment, homely and friendly. Food was really tasty (although the spring rolls were slightly dry and the pastry heavier than usual). The menu has a good selection of Thai dishes and the prices are reasonable! I'd highly recommend this place and they offer bring your own alcohol.

Very authentic Thai food, the chef asked how hot we wanted one dish popping out for a quick chat. The sticky rice was served wonderfully in its own rattan box. It was quite busy at 630pm on a Friday so we were lucky to get a table. It's not licensed but the corkage charge for a bottle of wine (off licemse just up tne road) was just Β£3. The waiter was really friend and helpful too. A really nice evening and lovely food too. The.pudding were the sweet rice types too.

Just had a delivered take away from Yamas. Great service over the phone, arrived dead on time. But most importantly it was delicious, delicious, delicious; every dish very distinctive and obviously all made from scratch. Highly recommended.
