Had a LOVELY meal here on Saturday evening. The restaurant itself was intimate, extremely stylish yet simply decorated and had a lovely atmosphere (with some great soul tracks playing in the background!). The food was amazing - again, simple and without too much fuss, just great produce, great flavours and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive yet relaxed and made us feel very at ease. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone (in fact I already have!).

Just eaten the most beautiful meal at Angela's... Absolutely perfectly cooked sea bass, amazing sea trout, stunning fish soup. Wonderful location, great team of people making eating at Angela's of Margate a first class experience, laid back and friendly, 5 star food. We'll be back, over and over.

We came across this restaurant by chance on its first night of opening so we booked a table for later in the week. What a place! Incredible food cooked just how we like it. Loving the no waste ethic. We didn't waste anything. Totally recommend.

Honestly the BEST meal I’ve had in a very long time. The quality of the sea food and the selection of dishes were amazing, every dish was perfect. The wine Devine! The desserts were delicious and the service was so relaxed and friendly, but very efficient. Honestly perfect, we will be back!

Totally delicious. I had the best vegetarian meal I have had in years. You must try the roasted cauliflower with potato & rosemary dumplings. Staff are super friendly 10/10

Had a fabulous lunch yesterday with my friends for their birthdays. We were really looked after and the food was excellent. Hake was cooked to perfection. Followed by home made Bakewell tart, yum yum. Will be back. Thank you.

I'd been looking forward to trying Angela's on the recommendation of an old work colleague and it was every bit as good as we'd hoped. Our lunch of roasted sea bass with samphire, Turbot with tomato ragout, and then apple cake with salted caramel ice cream was superb. The menu wasn't huge but thats exactly how it should be for food honest honest, and to use only the best of what's local. Service was friendly and warm and the prices are more than reasonable for what we ate. Angela's is destined to become a local gem, a great addition to Margate's seafront, cant wait to go back.

If you like your food fresh, local and sustainable then Angela’s is for you. Cooked to perfection and without fuss, the Ray Wing and Hake dishes we chose were beautiful. We ate at Rocksalt and were underwhelmed, but Angela’s exceeded our expectations. You can’t beat simple, fresh ingredients prepared sympathetically and served without over embellishment. We’ll definitely be back.

It’s not as good as everyone says, it’s better. Make sure you book in advance. One of the best seafood meals we have had in a long time. Prawns and scallops starter, monkfish and halibut mains with the chocolate cake to finish. Kudos to the chefs who both looked exhausted by the end of the night, super stars. Only point would be a finger bowl for the prawns would have been nice. Thank you.

Had an amazing meal at Angela's. The food was delicious and the service really friendly and welcoming. Book in advance as it's very popular! We had one main fish dish to share and then some starters and this was plenty. Only point, I think laptops should be banned from the restaurant :)

We managed to book a table on this warm autumnal day after a short local walk to build appetite. Angela's was plain amazing in all respects, we asked about their smoked prawns and were told they source seafood from Hastings and have it done special. John Dory was superb. Classic mussels. Oysters with hollandaise and roe .. mindblowing. Loved it, coming back.

Food was exquisite and fresh. The sourdough bread was to die for and lobster was amazing. We didn’t like the alternative version of the coke as it did not taste like coke. We were also sat at the back so the atmosphere didn’t feel good and it’s quite run down with it being a bit dingy at the back. Service was a bit slow as we were alone at the back and the waiters would only come to us when we our food was ready. Hence the service charge was removed for this reason. Unfortunately we didn’t request to sit at the front as it was our first time at restaurant so we did not know we were able to request this. Nevertheless would recommend.

Delicious! After visiting the sister restaurant Dory’s the previous night, we jumped at the chance to make a visit to Angela’s. We had a bean and courgette dish with a side of bread for lunch, before dashing back to London. Lovely. (Apologies for my last image: the presentation was much more perfect before we dived into it)

Second time here and it's been wonderful both times. Amazing mussels, I literally dream about them. Great with gluten free dietary requirements. Scallops were perfect. Prawns lovely. Would have liked a finger bowl as we had lots to eat with hands but appreciate it's more stuff for the table/clearing etc. Can't wait to come back again.

Food was all spectacular, so much flavour packed into each dish while still keeping the fish centre stage. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Quite possibly the best restaurant in Margate!

A really good meal at Angela's with a gratis taster at the start, some really interesting wine, and some beautifully good seafood. The muscles as a starter were exceptionally good. A table for six was set up near the window, and a great atmosphere ... people loving their food. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment!

One of the best seafood restaurants we’ve eaten at! Everything was cooked to perfection, the bisque was particularly delicious. Friendly waitresses and great location in Margate.

Some of the best food my boyfriend and I have ever had. The scallops were the best either of us have ever eaten, for mains we got the turbot and fish “chorizo” and the hake with a bisque. We got a side of bread, potatoes and greens and also got the house Sauvignon blanc to share - absolutely delicious and easy to drink which was a pleasant surprise as the cheapest white wine on the menu. The food was excellent but be warned, very buttery so be prepared to be indulgent. Dessert we shared the chocolate flourless cake which was also incredibly delicious. Service was excellent cannot fault them at all. Restaurant gets really busy so make sure you make a reservation in advance! Thanks for having us Angela’s. We’ll be recommending this restaurant to all our friends for sure.
