The Rose And Crown March - March - Photo album

First visit this evening. Meal was hot and tasty. My husband could have eaten a 4th sausage - they were of a good quality. Good to have a menu that had veg instead of the usual chips and peas. Will visit again.
Took my dad there Monday for dinner first time and won’t be the last! Excellent food and service, steak & kidney pudding was superb as were all dishes. looking forward to our next visit. Thank you

Always lovely well cooked meals. Also have a varied gluten free menu which is very appreciated as a family member is coeliac. Staff very welcoming and friendly. One of the best places to eat around the area.
The Rose and Crown typically offers a good selection of drinks, expertly poured by friendly staff. What more could you want?
Superb beer, lovely friendly staff and good food.
A very nice meal, freshly cooked, hot and well presented. Service was friendly. Nice drinks, clean pub, would recommend.
Nice cosy popular pub. Good food available and good choice of real ales.
Recommended by our cab driver and we weren't disappointed; food was excellent. I wanted the Thai red curry, but they only had a vegetarian option on the menu, which is a shame. I asked if the Chef could add chicken to it for me and it was superb. The lamb shanks fell off the bone and the gammon chos
Really nice pub lunch, the pub looked after 12 of us. They served the kids really well and all meals came out warm and together. All meals were at a great price. Definitely recommend this pub to all.
This is a great wee family run pub. Staff were so friendly and welcoming as were the other customers. Our first visit and it won't be our last. The cider choice was great and would covered all taste. I had liver and bacon and it was amazing. It's my favourite pub in our new home town. Thank you R
Went yesterday with 18 others. Lovely meal. Lovely service. Would go again for sure. All fresh cooked.
Large selection of drinks at the bar. Food was lovely, good size portions, not expensive, staff friendly, never felt rushed service was spot on. Well worth a visit.
We reserved for a large party for a birthday dinner on short notice. Even though they were staffed with 2 people they managed very well. Food was well prepared, presented well and delicious. Jackie was polite, helpful and prompt with service. Can't fault anything definitely would recommend to others
Reasonable food, at reasonable prices, proper traditional pub, with a good selection of food and drinks
