Having had a lovely 2 day break here last December we just had to come back, this time for 3 nights.
Absolutely terrific stay, breakfast and the 2 meals we had were very good indeed.
Incredible value too. We paid £270 for 3 nights b & b (not each by the way, that was for 2 people).

We both had different meals from the specials board, one of the best meals we've had anywhere for a long time.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We got a table without booking for Saturday lunch. Nice food, reasonable prices, good beer. Very quick and competent service from nice people. The menu is a little different from standard pub grub with some Asian dishes, which is very welcome. Would go again.

On the way back to London, we stopped for breakfast at okeover arms, and I have to say we need more pubs like that in London, service is amazing and so is the food! Honestly HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here!

Nipped in for a quick bite and a coke. A bit quiet than normally as the road was closed. Lovely chatting with the girls and taking about driving. Food was really nice and flavoursome and chunky chips.

Lovely dog friendly pub with really friendly owners and staff. Beautiful setting and they let motorhomes stay overnight. The landlady gave us a leaflet with various walks from the pub. We walked up to Dove Dale and had a wonderful day.
We stayed in the car park in our campervan. The staff were really friendly and the toilets were accessible really late, and first thing in the morning. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the pub, and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend

We only called in for a drink on a walk and ended up booking to return later that day for an anniversary meal.
A random guy in the car park as we walked in said that the food was 10/10 and the smell coming from the kitchen was so good, we booked to return to eat that evening.
