This is a fantastic tea rooms.! We were greeted with a very warm welcome today. We had a couple of sandwiches and a pot of tea. The food was delicious and hit the spot. Very reasonably priced. But I have to say as outstanding as the food and pot of tea was the service and friendly staff/owners are amazing! One of the owners told me they’d only been going a year and they’ve really nailed it. There’s plenty to choose from on the menu and as I mentioned very reasonable prices. Keep up the great work and thank you.

Very friendly tea rooms with helpful staff. If it's not on the menu, I'm sure they can rustle it up (as long as it's a reasonable request). A tea room cum beach shop selling home/locally cooked dog biscuits to kids fishing nets and jars of jam. A good outdoor garden in the summer, and indoor seating in the conservatory for when the weather turns against you. A very short walk from the beach area. Dog and people friendly. It's definitely if worth a visit if you are near the area. Situated in a quiet spot near Hornsea (Mappleton) with a picturesque church opposite. Popular area with dog walkers. This was a 20-mile drive out for us, but worth it. There appears to be limited space for wheelchair users, but I'm sure that something can be arranged, as there is an alleyway behind the building that goes to the garden and conservatory.

I had afternoon tea today at this Little Gem. It was amazing. My sister and I like a good afternoon tea and have sampled a few over the years. Some in quite famous hotels and I have to say this one beats them all. No contest ! The selection of sandwiches, savoury, cakes and desert were amazing. All fresh and homemade. There was so much we brought them home for teatime. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. It was a truly wonderful treat and I can honestly say worth every penny ❤ Thank you ladies for taking good care of us. We will definitely be back x

Such a welcoming and lovely tearoom. Warm and attentive service and nice food. Husband opted for pie and peas, I had a ham sandwich. Having a proper pot of tea with China cups was a delight. Very dog friendly with dog beds and bowls provided.

Nice little retreat, in a remote location. The breakfast was a welcome treat whilst camping and the menu was there was a bountiful choice of goodies. And the four legged friends are welcome.

A lovely brunch after a brisk dog walk on the beach in the November sunshine. Great bacon and sausage sandwich and fab cakes too. The pups also recommend the doggy biscuits!! We will be back!

I think the phrase "hidden gem" is often overused, having said that the old post office definitely fits the bill. From the lovely and friendly owner who gave our little dog the warmest of welcomes to the exceptional home cooked food and cakes. The rear terrace is a lovely environment to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake after a long walk on the beach.
