The Pack Saddle - Mapledurham - Photo album

Absolutely staggeringly good! We used to come to the Pack Saddle regularly before the pandemic but stopped when the previous owners got my steak meal wrong three times in succession. Last night we gave it another shot and it was just amazing! The calamari starter was cooked to perfection, just reall
This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back. The roasts were DELICIOUS! Really nice pub, very attentive and professional waiting team and genuinely the best roast spuds I've had in ages. Looking forward to seeing what they offer on other days.
First class service and an excellent menu turned a great catch-up lunch into a long lazy afternoon. Family members young and not-so were well catered for with things to do after superb food, drinks and coffee. A great venue to my mind!
Lovely location. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The service and food were to a good quality. Would definitely return for food in future.
Very nice food if a tad expensive, however you get what you pay for. Service good and the staff pleasant and helpful, loos clean. The children’s play area is just right. Don’t miss the community allotments provided by pub in the paddock. Great sign here
We went to the pack saddle on bank holiday Monday about 12:30, we didn't have a reservation but there was plenty of seating so this was not a problem. That's said it was popular and getting busier throughout our visit so it maybe recommended, especially if a poor weather day as alot of the seating i
Best steak pie, and fish and chips delicious, will be back. 1st class and a beautiful place, staff very friendly and dog friendly
Just love this place. My favourite gin Palace! Great gin menu and the food isn't bad either!! 😋
My sister booked the Pack Saddle by mistake, so glad she did. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and very tasty. There were 4 of us not one complaint. Will definitely be going back. Price wise the menu was standard for these days and area.
Very good Sunday lunch with fresh veg, super roast potatoes and tasty gravy. Beer and wine choice perfect. As somebody else has noted - a little more expensive than some other local pub menus but worth it.
Very nice food in a lovely cosy setting. The only minor complaint would be that the food was rather slow coming out, still tasted good.
Welcoming staff, family friendly, warm atmosphere. Broad selection of alcohol and good menu.
We were two families with children. Service was OK. The place is child friendly with a small ayground and children get to meet new children. If you sit outside, you can see your children from your table. The food was good. The portions were decent. I liked the burger as it was thick and juicy. The
Booked earlier in week to take French Taekwondo friends, honestly thought we were going for good old English pub grub but had the most amazing experience! Food was more tapas like, but really generous portions, SO so tasty. The chef came out to see us to explain the new menu and spent time talking
