Dave the landlord is very welcoming and always happy to help the line of alcohol I always fresh and cold the pub is as clean as can be shame it's not had a refurb yet otherwise would look a lot better but otherwise down to earth pub with a great landlord and dog friendly

Sat in public bar which is a perfect example of its type. Decoration awful, bit rough but beer really good. It's rare I've enjoyed a pint of John Smith's but this really was fresh, clean and tasty.
