I think this place is really nice I had steak and ale pie chips gravy it was really nice the staff were great friendly people although I don't own a dog the people whome I was with did have a dog of you are a dog owner your dog would be allowed in however if you disagree with dogs in eating location

Went for lunch and I wasn't disappointed, staff are super friendly service was mint. The tomahawk was mouth watering. And the sauce was even better. Good price. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is an interesting place to eat the gluten free menu's are the best I've come across Amy and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I've eaten here a few times now highly recommended the cheese cake is to die for. Thanks for your menu.
Absolutely fantastic, I visit the Widecombe on a regular basis, special thanks to Amy our server, she is absolutely wonderful, so friendly and dedicated to her role! She deserves a raise! The food is fantastic, thanks to the kitchen team!
I ordered a rump steak (med rare) was cooked to perfection. Everyone was very happy with their meals, even tho it was busy there wasn’t a long wait and the staff were all friendly and helpful. As pubs go this one was great. Would deffo go back
We came in for a family celebration on Saturday morning after the sister pub had flooded and Sarah and the team came to the rescue! The food was fantastic (21 meals and they were all spot on).
