I could not recommend the medium rare-steak enough, absolutely delicious. The Cowboy burger XL awesome flavour but impossible to fit into your mouth without halving it! Will be returning again Monday!

We had a really nice meal with our friends on Saturday evening. The pub was very vibrant and busy. The bar staff are very friendly letting us know how long the food will take. We had 4 meals and drinks all for £60 that we thought was very good value. Would recommend.

Visited here about a couple of weeks ago with family. We entered to a very friendly atmosphere and were greeted by a lady (I forget her name! I think it was Neesha). The menu was full of really good selections! I opted for the breaded scampi. The rules had changed since we last visited so we had to order at the bar which wasn't an issue at all. We were served by Riley and he was a great laugh, you can tell he loves his job! The other people on our table ordered through the app and the drinks were brought over by Owen. The drinks arrived very fast and with a smile.
We we're told the wait for food was a little longer than usual because of a big table and a weekly quiz (which we will definitely be back for), but we thought the food still came out fairly quickly. My dad forgot his peppercorn sauce with the mixed grill but the helpful chap Alex at the bar sorted this with no issue.
We also thought the chemistry between the bar staff was an added plus to the place!
Will definitely be back again next week and will recommend this place! Top notch staff, food and management.
A very quiet Saturday night. Food is pub food but was hot. No complaints from any us - there were four in our group. Service was satisfactory and staff were certainly pleasant. We will certainly use it again. Plenty of parking space.
Ample parking and very close to the main road making it extremely accessible. The seating staff member was lovely to speak to and the waitress was just as nice. The food is cheap and good quality. The mix grill being my choice of meal. It was nice but I would say that the chicken breast is pointless as it's flavourless and dry as a bone. Not enough sauce for the meal but overall it was nice. The side dishes in my opinion being better than the mains.

The starters were beautifully cooked and portions were just right. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only small complaint was the peas, which tasted still a bit hard. Overall, we would definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu.
Me and my sisters went to join in with the Friends quiz on Thursday. We ordered food and drinks. The food was gorgeous and the staff were really lovely. We had a lovely lady who was working our section. Really nice atmosphere in there. We definitely have plans to go back
We visited the Golden Eagle after getting some vouchers through our door. We was alittle hesitant to go as the last time a fair few years back it wasn't the best of visits! How it has changed, the service was amazing happy bar staff and the food was a hell of a lot better quality! This has restored our faith in the pub and we will be back again soon.
We try to visit most weeks for the Friday quiz. The quiz is great fun (even though we’re not that great at it!). The staff member who runs the quiz is very friendly and always remembers us which is really nice.
We sometimes have food when we visit, 90% of the time it is great but we have waited an hour for our food to arrive before, and then sometimes bits are missing so we have to go to the bar to ask for them but that’s not a huge issue, especially if they’re busy. The food itself it’s always hot and good quality and we enjoy it every time.
The drinks are lovely and very reasonably priced.
All staff are always polite and helpful.
We really enjoy our visits, and the quiz is always a bonus!
The other half surprised me and treated me to a night off cooking! We came here and had some garlic breaded mushrooms, mozzarella dough balls and then when my mega mix grill arrived was regretting the starters 🙈 still left space for a sticky toffee pudding and custard. Service was amazing the team was friendly on arrival. We will be back again soon.
We are so pleased that we chose to visit after we had picked up our daughter from work at Ransom Woods,when you walk into this lovely homely pub to be greeted by a friendly face that showed us to our table,can not fault anything from the service,the tasty hot food that is brought to your table by another friendly face,great value for money from a lovely menu where there's something for everyone and my daughter's favourite part was the very yummy looking pudding.

We ordered sirloin steaks and they were lovely best steaks we've had in any pub for a long time.

This place is just a joy from the moment you arrive. Plenty of parking, nicely kept,clean and tidy from the outside in. Nice friendly greeting as we entered (unlike some places who dont acknowledge you for 10 mins) and shown to our table. The waiting staff soon dealt with our order in a friendly manner, food came reasonably quickly and looked as delicious as it tasted. Definitely be returning. Was a bit hesitant about coming here as haven’t been in almost 5 years. I used to work here FOH and left 5 years ago. The place went really downhill and I heard nothing but awful things about it but today, my boyfriend decided this is where we were eating and I have to say we both really enjoyed it! The staff were welcoming and we were served by Owen who was lovely. The food was delicious and came out so fast even though it was quite busy 😊
We had a bit of an issue finding a working QR code and we had to chase up on gravy for one of the meals, but other than that everything was spot on. The food was well presented, well cooked and delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly.
2 for 1 makes it a great deal! Good range on the menu, great drinks, service was quick and couldn't fault the food. Bright inside felt comfortable, really enjoyed!
Fab food and lots of it. Really welcoming and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble especially the manager Liam. Great atmosphere, love the changes that have been made. We’ll definitely be back!
The service from Claire was first class. she could not do enough for us. You have a real diamond there. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and the burgers were also spot on. Complements to the chef. The service and all round experience made our birthday celebration really special.
