Cracking place, good food, great atmosphere and the staff are very accommodating. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Amazing staff all so well coming, a really friendly pub to relax have some food,or drink. Or even a girls night out its the place to be !!

Wonderful staff, all so welcoming. I went in for a quick drink and ended up staying for the evening. Included a superb burger and chat from the staff and a few of the locals.
To say the pub was quite busy for a Sunday the good came out in a reasonable time. The food was brill I ordered a pulled pork burger, and was sceptical as the one from spoons tastes like a carpet fluff sandwich, but this was by far the best cheap pub meal I've had in a while, very tasty, the chefs should be proud! It's cost me £8.40 for a drink, burger and to upgrade to sweet potato fries which is fantastic!

Fantastic pub. Great atmosphere and a great selection of Beers. The menu has lots of choices. Pub classics two for 11.49 really good value. If you are into football there's lots of TV with sky sports. The staff are lovely and really helpful and knowledgeable about the Beers. They do sun roast too. Great pub if you are in the area I recommend it highly. The Oak tree is a Greene king pub so they do accept friends and family discount codes.
Had a lovely lunch and a pint here. Sun was out too yay. Great price for food. Beer a bit expensive. Staff were great very friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Fantastic environment to eat and drink. Landlady is very welcoming. Great quiz nights. Staff go above and beyond to please. A well managed friendly pub. Don’t expect the Ritz because you’re not paying for the ritz. Expect down to earth get what you pay for.
Popped in for a couple of drinks during the week. Quite a popular pub as it seemed on the day, a few were having a drink, some having a bite to eat. Seemed to be an after work thing, plus many tables reserved for dinner. The pub has a good layout, semi separated into sections, slightly more orientated for food than drink. But it's very in the vane of a opened out traditional style of pub, which has been the flavour fo most pubs for some time. All in all recommended, prices are in the mid range, so enjoy!
Food was absolutely divine had the hunters chicken… great portions, came out quick. Friends also had steaks and they came really big, a lot on the plate. Only thing I wish this place had was a mixed grill was a little sad to see they didnt have one… but overall well pleased great value for money!! Drinks super cheap here too! 10/10
Knew this pub 50 yrs ago ! When I was very young . Family orientated and obviously long standing . Amazing to see a place that has stood the test of time . Very friendly , community based, tidy , good food . Was born just down the road and passing through to Mansfield Town , was drawn to it and am glad I called in . Had a great lunch and sat looking at all the pictures etc talking mostly 😀
I love going to the oak tree as it's on my way home from work. As well as frequently visiting on a weekend. There's always a friendly atmosphere and the staff are great. Would highly recommend

Had a lovely snack this lunchtime Southern fried chicken and chips... food was tasty and hot ...service and staff brilliant....we will certainly be going their again 😁

Just had the Hunter's Chicken with chips. The chips were nice but the chicken made me feel a bit queasy.

Great place and decent food, worth a visit if you're in the area. Edit - 26.10.23 went again and the food was superbly cooked, dare say improved from already great quality to my previous visit.
