Today i visited Capo Lounge with an old work friend and my 3 yr old son for the first time. Loved it! My son loved it! Great little hidden gem in mansfiekd town centre. I originally come from London and woukd expect this type of place with its decor, cool vibes, menu choices and brilliant staff in covent garden or soho! Credit to you all who work there. Lovely welcome by the young girl behind the bar who told us lots of seating upstairs as downstairs was pretty much full. My son couldnt get over the decor, always something new to explore. Ordered fresh orange juice, pink lemonade, kids chicken lollipop meal deal, sweet pot burger and halloumi/falafal salad. Wish i'd not eaten breakfast! Could finish my portion! My son polished off his meal no probs and he never finished food. Fresh orange juice was delish. My pink lemonade was so fresh and refreshing...fingers crossed they have sherbert in next time as cant wait to try sherbert lemonade. Didnt wait long for food at all. Lovely little area for kids to grab a game or colours. And the bookshelf with books to read was a nice touch too. Would be a great place for a family meal or works do or even a fun venue for a wedding reception. I love it and will def be coming back. Just a shame its not on a groupon offer or tastecard offer or i would be there weekly! 5 stars for sure!
Had an early evening meal here on a moderately busy Saturday with my wife. Great food, really friendly staff and a nice venue to boot. Definitely will return again soon. I absolutely recommend the cheesecake.
Also, the vegan menu was very much appreciated by my wife - so thanks for that!
This place has become our family favourite. It's a lovely relaxing place with a great atmosphere. We dine out as a couple in the eve or bring the kids for tea or call in for coffee after shopping! It doesn't matter because the place caters for it all. Food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Love it. Xx
Really quirky place for coffee, a drink or something tasty to eat. Love how the lounge has been decorated. The staff are always friendly and make you feel a valued customer. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere a bit different for refreshments.
A great place with lovely staff, always going above and beyond. Great for kids, with toys and kiddy nibbles as you wait for food. Food is superb and reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend enough.
my first time at this lovely place, went with my daughters, surroundings fabulous, food lovely and staff very friendly, only thing I would say some of the cocktails are a little over priced , food was fantastic well worth the money and very nicely presented , well done guys x
well, just popped in to this lovely looking place, had the best pancakes and bacon ever !..looking at the menu i see we will be going again hopefully for a tapas night :) staff great x x
Nice day for tapas! Good sized tapas dishes. Good flavours. Very tasty and filling. Good value.
Capo Lounge is a popular restaurant and bar with a lively, buzzing atmosphere, even on a Friday lunch. Boho and chunky shabby chic decor. Family friendly but with an 'in crowd' vibe.
The staff are attentive and the food was served in good time.
I sat outside to watch the world go by. It's a beautiful day again. The gentle bristle of leaves on nearby trees is sweet and I enjoyed watching the market stalls and shoppers. Nice spot.
The first time, I visited Capo Lounge in October for a coffee. Interior decoration is unique and so warm welcome. Coffee was taste and well served. Definitely come back again.
Been here a few times now, genuinely the best tasting food you can get around Mansfield, not to mention the value for money and amazing atmosphere in the place. 1000/10 would recommend
Called in to this market-square café on a recent visit to Mansfield. The verdict on the 4 breakfasts in our group was unanimous: excellent (shakshuka, Big Lounge (full English), smashed avocado and Miami brunch). The coffee was very good. Service was excellent, decor is tastefully utilitarian. Quiet at 09:30 on a Saturday morning.
I love this place. The menu options are fantastic and the food has been amazing everytime I have visited. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I love the decor and feel of the place. I will return many more times. Drinks are pricey but if you are going to treat yourself I can recommend the peach colada!
Absolutely amazing, went on a friend's recommendation. Wife had the lounge breakfast which although slightly pricey for the size it was nice. I had the Shakshuka and it was perfectly spiced, eggs were done incredibly well, the extra chorizo was the best food choice I've made in months. I can't fault this dish in the slightest. I'd love to see a larger portion upgrade offer with more shakshuka, an extra egg and bred just so I can starve myself for the day to enjoy as much of it as possible.

We came here for for breakfast and it was an absolute delight! The food was incredibly delicious especially the shakshuka which had the perfect level of spiciness. Great and cosy atmosphere, friendly staff.
Had tea and carrot cake- delicious! Lovely surroundings, I'm defo visiting again.
This is the best place for all ages in Mansfield. The team working here are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much of a task. Over the past few years of living in Mansfield I have eaten here endless amounts of times. Recently I threw my 30th birthday party here which was a great success, again due to the fabulous Capo Team. If you have any special dietary requirements whether it’s gluten free, lacto, veggie-vegan (you name it they have it covered!). Ask Philippa or Rhi to make you the best morning coffee, Helen will look after you on the floor and get you the best table in house and Maggie and her kitchen team will make sure you leaving feeling full! ☺️
A lovely place, nice friendly staff, good atmosphere. The food was delicious. Pancakes with Bacon and maple syrup and smoked salmon, poached eggs with English muffin. Hot chocolate with the syrups were incredible! Definitely recommend
