The place is lovely. Beautiful food and surroundings. Prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend for tea and cake or a nice lunch.
A hidden gem! We popped in for a Sunday roast, ordered and received within 15mins, the timing was impeccable especially as we had our 4 month old with us. The beef melted in your mouth and side dishes where presented beautifully with more then enough for the two of us. We shared a homemade desert that was 10/10. When paying I was astonished at the value. I'd highly recommend this lovely little venue and I'd like to thank all the staff for being so accommodating, we'll see you again soon!

Called here yesterday during a cycle ride...only stopped for cake but what a selection �� great service, lovely surroundings and great choice of food and drink. It was so nice I brought my daughter back today to test out the menu and it didn't disappoint. I can also well recommend the Cawl. I'm sure I'll be testing all the cakes out during the next few months

Every time I visit the potting shed I have had a 5 star experience. Friendly staff, very clean, quick service and cosy atmosphere. Recently I have moved away to Cardiff but every visit home I stop by - most recently on 27th of October my mother took me for lunch at the potting shed, I had cawl and a latte. The portions were hot and generous; this is definitely a new favourite of mine for the coming winter months. Looking forward to my next visit ☺️
Just had fish and chips 🍟. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food is excellent. Freshly cooked not too long to wait. Large portions. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be returning
Fantastic breakfast and coffee. Wonderful place to visit. Gets particularly busy by late morning and at weekends, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Very much enjoyed our first visit to the Potting Shed for breakfast. We all had a cooked breakfast with drinks, toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and hot too.
2 lovely lady staff that we met, I didn't get their names - thank you ladies for the chat. Bought cake to takeaway as an afternoon treat.
We sat on the Terrace as we had our dog with us - plenty of space inside which looked very nice too.

Really nice cafe in a lovely garden centre. You can eat inside or outside surrounded by the plants and flowers. It was very peaceful outside, just the sound of the birds. The service was friendly and the food came quickly and was tasty. The cake selection was also really good to eat in or take away.

An accidental find or a lucky find , either way this place has to be advertised as it is an absolutely fabulous place for any meal from breakfast to Sunday lunch. As restaurants go it is not the largest or lavishly decorated but when it comes to the food and the hospitality there are very few places to beat The Potting Shed. At times such as Sunday lunch book before you go or you will be disappointed, the dinners are excellent as is the service, I know as far as my wife and I are concerned they cannot be beaten. Well done our visits may not be often but we will be back

From the freshest sandwich selection, to the light and delicate meringues and moose, it was perfect. The home made cakes and scones were just perfect too. The lovely staff were as delighted with our appreciation of their perfect tea, as we were .

My wife and I have just enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast, the meat just melted in your mouth and everything was piping hot, the service was efficient and very friendly, I can say with all honesty it was probably the best Sunday roast we have ever had, the only regret is we go back to Herefordshire on Friday so won’t have another chance until later in the year.
We can thoroughly recommend the potting shed for Sunday or midweek meals.

After a stroll around the garden centre this was a joy x Fantastic Christmas menu. Such a shame the wood burner wasn't on as that would have been the icing on the cake xx Always love going here with family and friends xx
Great interior design, cool and on trend. Menu offering is good, I highly recommend the chicken curry and my wife said her fish finger sandwich was excellent.
Staff training in progress, all very pleasant.
Definitely the best cooked breakfasts in South Wales, if not the UK!!!!.Let down ever so slightly by not being able to swop beans for a hash brown and the tomatos under cooked for my personal liking, but I'll still rate 5 stars as the breakfasts, despite the small niggles are still amazing! Super friendly staff too. Will be back again and again.
