What a lovely place for brunch and friends. Seemed very popular, queued for 15 minutes to get in.
Took the Turkish eggs with sausage...was absolutely delicious. The yoghurt and eggs combination was surprisingly fantastic. Very nice and stylish interior.
The only thing stopping this place from getting a five was the very very slow service (they forgot to notify the kitchen of our order I think). A great brunch place nonetheless.
I liked this place and I plan on returning. I haven’t given 5 stars all round as the food took quite a while to arrive but the drinks were very quick so I ended up finishing my hot drink before my food got there… lest I have a cold brew. I did ask my server about the food once and they said they had quite a few orders they were getting through. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the spiced sweetcorn fritters and although it was a very taste dish, there was not enough sriracha on the plate- I did mention this to my server at the end. My partner had the French Toast with wild mushroom and I had a taste of this and liked it too! We went on a Wednesday midday and the restaurant was quite busy. I’d recommend booking in advance (if they permit this) if you would like a particular seating arrangement.
A hearty breakfast, great coffee, and even better hospitality.
The smoked salmon on rye was a home run. Definitely give this place a go! Great latte art as well 😀
Very good food and drinks! Service was friendly and fast. Ambiance was chill and delightful. I highly recommend trying the Turkish eggs dish (I got sausage) or the cinnamon French toast. Both were bursting with melt-in-your-mouth flavor. The chai latte is also so tasty! Highly recommend trying this place!
A bit pricey for the portion sizes but everything was freshly made and tasted nice. We tried to order the smoothie bowl but was told the blender wasn't working which was a shame as that's the main reason we chose to come here over other breakfast spots.
Fantastic venue to grab breakfast.
It had a great atmosphere with friendly staff. The music was great (not too loud).
The food and coffee itself was fantastic. We went for a flat white and the
(1) Turkish eggs with dill labneh, harissa oil and toasted sourdough and chorizo.
(2) Spiced sweetcorn and spring onion fritters, corn salsa, sriracha lime dressing and halloumi.
There was no need for a booking as we were seated immediately upon arrival.
It is also a good location in proximity to lots of other bars / restaurants and shops.
Food was amazing, the staff lovely and helpful. I absolutely suggest this to everyone and 100% recommend . Will return back for sure. Well done guys.
Excellent brunch spot in Northern Quarter. Newly extended with a large, airy seating area.
We regularly visit the other restaurant in West Didsbury but this was my first time in town. Always great service and food brought out quickly. The space has recently almost doubled in size and there are plenty of seats which minimises wait times.
My only wish is they would serve the delicious banana bread here like they do in Didsbury.
I came here for breakfast, I had avocados with hummus and eggs, portion was generous and very tasty, and the flat white was so delicious doesn’t feel acidic. I like the atmosphere, music, services and prices overall. I would thank Effie for her kindness and I highly recommend this place.👍🏻
Amazing brunch spot in the heart of manchester. Quirky, busy and vibrant is how I would describe this place. The food was exquisite, really impressed!
The restaurant is very popular but doesn't have many seats, they don't take any reservations anymore, but it's worth the wait.
I ordered Turkish eggs and added extra halloumi, it tasted amazing. I'd recommend having sausages if you don't want to order extra. The portion is large for me but probably decent to man.
The coffee is delicious as well, it is smooth and rich, doesn't feel acidic and is not bitter. Personally I think it's one of the best lattes I have ever had in Manchester city centre.
We came here for lunch and they have some really nice breakfast and brunch here. I had scrambled tofu and smoked salmon, and my mum had french toast, portions are generous and the quality is really good here. I liked the atmosphere in Northern Quarter as well. Prices were cheap, most dishes were under £10 which was good. Services was quick. It would have been good if there were some salad options or something without bread, but other than that a nice place for brunch or lunch.
Absolutely delicious!
Lovely service. Nice atmosphere. Portions are very very filling. Added a portion of salmon to my order and got two very large slices of salmon! Neither of us could finish the food. Good value for money. Definitely recommend
Breakfast was amazing!
My parents were visiting from Spain and i took them there because I really like this place. They also loved it! 😍
Looking forward to coming back soon!
A beautiful coffee shop inspired by the coffee culture in Melbourne. Another heart to feed is a fab place to brunch. With relaxed chilled vibes, friendly service and minimalistic design all in the heart of Manchester.
What we ordered:
Brioche French toast with vanilla mascarpone, strawberry and raspberry compote, white chocolate milk crumb and maple syrup.
Turkish eggs with dill labneh, harissa oil & toasted sourdough with a side of halloumi.
Shakshuka, poached eggs, za'atar and sourdough with halloumi & wild mushrooms.
Tumeric latte and a hazelnut milk cortado.
Everything was picturesque and tasted amazing. A place that doesn't need to try to be instagrammable but let's the food speak for itself.
The French toast was really soft with the right amount of topping. It wasn't soaked inside but it wasn't needed on this occasion. The compote and maple added enough wetness to create that.
The Turkish Eggs are by far one of the best in the city centre. The dill labneh added such a nice fresh taste to it and the eggs were perfectly poached.
The shakshuka was really fresh tasting and loved the addition of the za'atar.
The service was excellent and the team were really friendly.

A hip and trendy laid-back hangout situated in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. With all-day dining & a modern vibe, supplying brunch fare, coffee & boozy drinks. The food was well presented and delicious, the staff are attentive but not intrusive and the lattes were (imho) simply the best I've tasted. I will be returning and would highly recommend a visit.
