Maray - Manchester - Manchester - Photo album

My boyfriend took me for lunch during our weekend in Manchester, and honestly, the place exceeded expectations. The waitress, a delightful woman, added a personal touch. The food, though not overly generous in portions, boasted incredible flavors. Don't miss out on the roasted cauliflower and baklav
Fantastic! A slice of Middle Eastern cuisine in Manchester. A night out with friends to this restaurant will be worth every penny. The disco cauliflower is the review raving topic and hyped by the staff - probably because the revenue and mark up on cauliflower is a money maker. It was good but there
The menu is really wonderful. Nice twists and great flavours, we also really enjoyed the special menu cocktails. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. The music is just the right volume (some places are so loud we can’t have a conversation! But here is just right!) also the l
Great place fora lunch. Plenty of food and done to a great standard. We went all vegi plates and they were super. The cauliflower was a particular highlight. Service was also quick and very friendly.
I always walk past this place but never make a visit as most of the menu is vegetarian but after they reintroduced the Sunday roast I decided to give it a try. Was definitely worth the trip and would definitely go again, we got the falafel which was great and the roast dinner was amazing, it adds t
Came here for the Sunday roast on father's day since they won't be serving their roasts again until August! We ordered falafel for the starter and it was amazing! Very light, crisp on outside yet soft on the inside, so many flavours from the sauce, to the couscous, to the hummus.. and just so delici
If you are a big eater, then you have to order 2-3 dishes per person. (Thanks to Jules we knew this. He is damn helpful). The disco cauliflower is overrated but their goat cheese, pita bread and pork cheeks are very good. But know what’s worth killing for? Their crispy sweet squid dish. We tried
Really nice selection of different small plates, with some larger sharing-style ones. I was really really impressed with the creativity and quality of each dish, which is sometimes not that common in tapas style restaurants. Would definitely recommend the falafel sharer and the fried chicken. Real
The falafel dish was superb along with its salad, hummus and the pitta bread. The sweet potatoes were just okay. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Portions are small so you might need a few dishes per person. We each had a big falafel dish meant for 2 plus an extra dish to feel full. Overall,
Brill. I visited here for a business lunch in August 2023 in a party of three. We each had 3 dishes and I was pleased that the portions were actually real amounts of food, not tiny little snacks. The whipped goats cheese, falafel and fried chicken were really excellent. Service was friendly and sw
From start to finish, absolutely no faults. As soon as we sat down our server (shout out Morgan) proper looked after us. He promptly brought over the water, asked if we'd been before, went through the menu and suggested pretty much the right amount of food to order (5 between 2 people) The food c
Lovely setting and super friendly staff. Loved the vegan menu. Just seemed to take substantially longer for the vegan things to come out compared to non vegan. The aubergine dish was well recommended, super tasty!
One of the best meals we've had in Manchester! Incredibly tasty food, with a fantastic vegan selection (we aren't vegan but only ordered from that menu because it all looked so good)! It's tucked away in a quiet square, so is easy to miss, but you'd be a fool not to go. Our server was also lovely an
Really nice vibe and the food was delicious! Plenty of options to choose from which were different from other restaurants in Manchester. The halloumi and the cauliflower bajis were my favourite, will definitely be back to have those again. Staff were also very friendly
Amazing roast dinner, great portion size. Fantastic deserts. And such friendly and cool staff such a nice vibe thank you
Spacious, comfortable and with good service (well apart from forgetting one of our dishes - very apologetic). Much more comfortable than Maray Liverpool, but the food was better in Liverpool. Despite being more pricey than my typical lunchtime choice I'd happily go back.
I came here on Friday and it was just as good as ever. The food was amazing (highly recommend the carrots, prawns, goats cheese and Boquerones). The service was also second to none, with a specific shout out to our waitress, I didn’t catch her name but she had short-ish ginger hair, you were the bes
Nice new addition to the Manchester restaurant scene. Small to medium tapas. All of the food we had was delicious. Lots of vegan options. Cocktail menu looked good too although we didn’t have any. Staff were all friendly and attentive and the atmosphere inside is super nice. Great for date night. Re
