An absolute hidden gem off the busy streets of Manchester. Gyoza Wangs provides a relaxing environment to dine in. The menu is small but that isn't a negative by any shout.
The food is made fresh to order and is served very quickly.
The food itself is delicious, authentic and high quality.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back again.
The gyoza tasted nice and is decently priced. The sauce is perhaps a bit more sour than we are used to but fine when you add chilli oil.
The inside looks nice and modern, perhaps a bit cheesy with Japanese shop stickers and other objects everywhere but it's much better than an old dirty looking shop. I probably wouldn't take my Japanese friends but I would introduce foreign friends who haven't tried Gyoza before.
Ramen was also quite nice 😊, even if the addition of chicken in it seems a bit strange. I would prefer Orion okinawa beer over the Monsutā one they are selling. Would recommend and I'd like to come back again.

Spacious basement and good location. Not ideal if you drive as there is no parking spot.
As a big fan of dumping I would give 3 stars for the dumplings but 4 stars for the special Ramen. We tried 2 kinds of dumplings one in prawn and one in beef. Also orders fried chicken and prawn tempura. Not very impressed with the food.
The waitress is very friendly but you can see they are definitely on low staffing level so she is looking after all the customers by herself.
This is a place for students, if you love authentic Asian food you can give it a try but wouldn’t recommend myself.
Lovely place for ramen and gyoza, with halal options, really good food and service with lovely atmosphere and service, prices were pretty good we spent £30 for bowl of ramen , 10 gyoza, 3 drinks and 1 dessert. Would highly recommend for a halal ramen place if that's what you're looking for. 👍👍👍
Got the chicken gyozas to take home, was ready fairly quickly and the food stayed good until we got home. Very fresh tasting and well made, and paired great with the black vinegar. Will definitely come back and try the rest of the food!
Pork gyoza and tonkotsu (pork broth) ramen are delicious. Servers are friendly. Atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and nice.
Super delicious, fresh, 100% homemade Gyozas! Fantastic team - the chef is highly skilled & and the front of house lady who served me was very bubbly and a joy to be around - it was so lovely to talk to her whilst my food was being prepared. The owners are very friendly too - I was curious and only asked to know how they were made (chicken gyozas in the picture) - I didn’t expect them to actually take some time out of their busy day to show me! I’ve had many gyozas in the past from various places across Manchester but these ones are literally cooked to perfection. Juicy, crispy, & very tasty! Just like how you want it.
The environment is spotlessly clean too & beautifully decorated. The combination of both the tasty, well-presented, food & beautifully decorated setting definitely brings home the feels of as if you’re dining in Asia.
Perfect for a quick lunch outing or a late evening meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone & definitely I’ll be back. 👍
Very delicious dumplings! I am so happy to find a restaurant with real Chinese flavor dumplings. My favorite flavor is beef flavor, so juicy and fresh! I am surprised with the handmade dumpling skin as well, so skillful. Lucky we found a new place to eat in the future in Manchester! Highly recommended !
Best noodles I have ever tried!
Fantastic Japanese soup noodle with chicken and egg. You can tell the soup base made by bones and cooked for ages. Delicious crispy gyoza Recommend and will back again.
Ramen is just amazing, second time went there and never regretted my decision, staff are nice and friendly and the atmosphere is on point!

Literally crave this place all the time! the best Gyoza EVER, great service (love the staff here). And the chicken and beef is now Halal - amazing. Have brought many friends here and will continue to rave about it to everyone I know who loves Gyoza. :)
If I could give this more than five stars then I would. The dumplings are really juicy and come out hot and seasoned to perfection, the mochi dessert might be the best ice cream I have ever had and the prawn tempura is so crispy and flavourful this place deserves much more attention for its outstanding food. The food there is suitable for anyone and the restaurant is calm with a tidy, casual Japanese themed dining room you will be greeted with very friendly staff. I have visited many restaurants and this one doesn’t disappoint and really catches the eye. A must try!
