We visited today for lunch and I was very impressed of the selection for the price of £18.95. My husband loves spicy dishes so he was happy with the selection and I always opt for the milder dishes and I had more than enough choices.
It was extremely busy so that is always a sign that it’s a great place to visit. My favourite two dishes were the mushroom soup (amazing flavour you have to try!!) and the garlic chicken, oh and a big thumbs up for the coconut rice too!
My husband had beer and I had a fruity Malibu cocktail and it was lovely! We managed desserts just about and I loved the self serve Mr Whippy ice cream.
Overall the staff were very friendly and the food was well worth the price, I can’t wait to visit again in the future!
This buffet has various Thai foods, including a starter main course and desserts. The atmosphere was good, with the Thai shop badge hanging around, making you feel like you are in Thailand. I like the pork noodle soup, spicy fruit salad, and Thai dessert. Not many options for kids. Apart from that, I think it should have more meat in the dishes.
The price for the buffet did not include drinks and was different from Monday to Thursday and from Friday to Sunday.
The food was better than our expectations, it's a buffet. The staff were friendly. The place is a little noisy but it's expected seeing that it's a shopping centre
It was a good experience having a thai buffet. Prices are very reasonable. Staff and service is very good. Neat and clean place. Taste is above average.
Love love love it! For the amount of money you pay in pp (~£18) it's an absolute bargain! 3-4 soup choices, plenty of salads, plenty of curries and thai dishses. 5-6 different sides and veggies. Bottomless drinks for £4 (including slushie). For pudding plenty of fresh and cooked/baked options, everything was yummie! And to top it up there's a pick and mix sweets area too. The only downside was that the seating are was a bit neglected. Enormous rips on the textiles and looked uncared for. Could probably use an upgrade, but for the price you get all that choice of food, we were more than happy with our dining.
Gorgeous food and time spent, special shout you to the girls who were so lovely with my daughter ( she made such a mess whilst enjoying the food) they tended to her every need. Really lovely to see. Would recommend this place to anyone!! No food pics but a pic showing how lovely the girls were!
It's good but there are less options for vegetarian people today. We went there today and for less food we have to pay 40 pounds for 2 persons including the tax which is really very high for that food they were options of salad rice some fries icecream fruits noodles some onions rolls like this but it's not worthy
Located in Chinatown (Upstairs), you have a Cute and Quaint Restaurant called ThaiKhun.
The atmosphere in there really feels like you're in a Street Side cafe in Thailand. The Decor really compliments the Cuisine and the Ladies working there are all Equally but Greatly Beautiful. I was actually gobsmacked. My husband agreed :)
The Food was Lovely, slightly on the Spicy side but overall it was Fantastic. The Mains were Delicious and the Starters and Desserts matched up too. It isn't a Massive selection in the Buffet but its a Very Good Sized Buffet and I am a firm believer that the more Food a Buffet is pushing out, the less Quality Food you're getting.
I've been to the ThaiKhun in Manchester City Centre and have visited this one in Trafford Centre once before. I love the Food, Service and Atmosphere.
It’s a Saturday visit, extremely crowded. I went in with my infant. Long wait to receive a high chair. Understandable.
Buffet service. Variety is great for a buffet. The menu is catered towards Thai cuisine, but lacked authentic taste. Quality of food was good. Freshly prepared station for rice , noodles and pancakes was decadent.
This place is fantastic!! When you see all you can eat you think quantity not quality, but here everything is spot on its just like being in a proper Thai street resteraunt with the food being constantly prepared right in front of you.
Absolute favorite Koi Sai chicken soup, sounds weird but great.
