Outstanding bakery The croissant bread that I got from here was sublime Buttery, flakey and abit crusty. The croissant themselves were crunchy and buttery. I got the Almond coffee flavour I can't describe the flavour It was outstanding Never had anything like it We are going back this Sunday again It's a gem. I also got a sandwich Beautiful The bread was the main flavour 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

I had the pleasure of visiting Companio Bakery and trying their pan au chocolate and apricot Danish. Both pastries were incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed the indulgent buttery flavours an I'm already looking forward to returning soon to explore more of their delightful offerings! Highly recommended for pastry lovers!

Really lovely artisan bakery offering a wide selection of buttery pastries. We had the croissants which tasted better than the ones in France and some other baked goods which were really lovely. I would advise to get there early to avoid as possible. I really wanted the pain au chocolat, but we got there at 11ish on a Saturday and they were sold out. Will definitely be visiting again.

Outstanding quality baking. We returned on the same day to get treats for the road home. From the pizza bread to a potato stuffed bread, a chai cream stuffed croissant, a marmite cheese roll, to a delicious almond and jam croissant slice. Flavours were creative and powerful. Pastry was buttery, flaky and light. And friendly service to boot! Highly recommend.

Was recommended a trip here and it did not disappoint. Neil and the team were brilliant, knowledgeable and passionate. There was a great selection of sweet and savoury. The dairy free croissant was a hit with my daughter and the peach and pistachio danish was to die for. The sourdough and focaccia didn’t last long at all once home. Can’t wait to be back in the area!

Fresh focaccia, steaming hot sourdough and perfectly prepared pastries. Get to Campanio Bakery. Open at the crack of a sparrows, 8am, Campanio Bakery is a warm, charming in-house bakery. Situated in the cool corner of Manchester. It has a fine selection of artisan breads astutely prepared onsite. Baguettes, sourdough’s, focaccia’s, croissants. Small and large loaves. You will leave happy and eat heartily.

Companio has the best croissants in Manchester. We did a blind taste test to compare all popular local bakeries and this one topped them all. The deep roasted undertones make every bite so fulfilling.

Best place for your bread options. You must go early, trust me, you will get your bread still warm, I go there for the seeded sourdough bread, as you can see by the picture, my favourite, also their Focaccia bread is really tasty, located in Ancoats, few minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens (Manchester City Centre). Friendly staff, good prices. And a fantastic selection of breads, please try their Croissants. I promise you, You will be drooling 🤤. Highly recommended.

Just wow. Perfect pastries. Buttery laminated layers, soft, flakey, and crisp. Everything we tried had well balanced flavours and fillings. The coffee almond croissant was insanely good. As was the zataar and feta swirl. To be honest, everything was. Also, everything is baked and shaped right there so you can see the process if you want.

There’s an over abundance of great bakeries in Manchester; the place is disproportionately well serviced for sourdough and pastries But Companio, hands down make the best croissant and bread in the city. The pastries are crisp, hold more butter than you would think possible, have a good balance with a slight sourness to them. The bread, especially the baguettes are spectacular Recently tried a few bakes, which have all been ace - well made sponges; again with balanced flavour and good texture that don’t just rely on overly sweet filling for taste Lunch sandwiches are also some of the best I’ve ever eaten (anywhere) It was a real outlier when first opened and the area since has exploded, with a plethora of other (really great) bakery / coffee / pastry shops - but this place, quietly and with no fuss or fanfare, beats the lot

Fantastic fluffy focaccia and tasty pastries, with a good vegan choice. Maybe a bit more of chocolate in the pain au chocolat would have helped, but it was really tasty anyway. The staff is also friendly.

Had a very tasty and fluffy focaccia with tomato, olives, cheese and ‘nduja. It was fresh and very well made. I also had a pain au chocolat, and that too was delicious and perfectly baked. Maybe the possibility to heat up certain items would be a good add-on, as while the items were clearly fresh, it was quite late in the morning and they were no longer oven hot. Had that focaccia been heated up, all that flavour would have been amplified for an experience even more unforgettable.
