Great tasting kebab, quality donner meat not the cheap and nasty stuff you sometimes get that has zero taste, lettice was fresh, the interior of the place is very dated and could do with a make over but when charging £4.20 for a donner kebab they won't be making millions, will eat from here again

King kebab has been my go-to place for many years (at least since 2008, a year after I moved to North Manchester) Same courteous owner who is ALWAYS on hand to ensure the quality is excellent. I MEANT the five stars for food and service but, as they are only a takeaway, I feel I have to justify my choice of 5 for atmosphere because I base this on the atmosphere generated between the serving staff and customers. Excellent. I've never ordered on line because I don't trust companies like Rude, traffic-law-ignoring, Uber eats or disgustingly dirty bagged deliveroo, etc ... (however, JUST EAT have always been courteous clean, patient AND professional when THEIR couriers arrive when I'm waiting at the counter for my order).
I welcome the extra few minutes walk to be assured that the food I get from them is as they intended... Excellent. Thank you.
First time trying donner kebab from Kebab King after my regular takeaway closed. Had a large order of 13 donner kebabs so decided to order over the phone but then found out that ordering online was saving us over £10 so decided to cancel my phone order and order via their website. The food quality and portions were decent although the size of the naan could have been bigger and the meat maybe cut a bit thicker as well. We were given some extra salad trays, chilli pots and a bottle of drink for free which was a nice treat. Will definitely be ordering again from Kebab King when we get the cravings for donner kebab.

This the best kebab place in Manchester I've been going here since the age 18 now 65 just started going back in and I was amazed he reconsidered me after all them years and still tasted as good now as it did then well done chap's 👏 ✔ 👍
Amazing food and amazing service. A small takeaway, but very popular in the area and all for the right reasons. I strongly suggest anyone in this area looking for a reasonably priced takeaway with good food - this is the place you must try. I was greeted very nicely by the staff, addressed very politely and will be visiting again for sure.

Owe me a can of coca cola. - I received it after I complained twice. -Had to speak to owner to receive item. They sell good food. Just if you are missing a item try contacting the owner instead. Other staff are a bit of a clueless hamster.
Terrible delivery person, I bought a 1.5 litre of cola and they came with a 1.25 litre. And even tried walking away with the bottle after I paid! Said they'd come back with the item, but I had to directly contact the owner to fix this for me. - owner is a nice man, it's just the delivery man who sucks. (Guy with beard who's always on phone when he gives you food lol)
Would recommend the food from this shop though. It's decent.

I've been here with my family for a take away around midnight. We had no idea what to order, as it was our first time here, so we had to go through the whole menu and we took our time to decide (kids were involved too). On top of that we kept on adding orders after reading something missed the first time. Basically any shop keeper worst nightmare. Well, we've not only been served all we asked for but it's been done with their best genuine smiles. The gentleman welcomed us very warmly and didn't show any sort of loosing his patience or of being bored. Then another gentleman came in the shop (I guess he was out for deliveries) and we received the same treatment: big friendly smiles and chats. The food was very good. Totally different from the flavours I was expecting but something to crave for in the future. Their sauces: delicious. All freshly cooked in front of us plus all so cheap! We've been also given a free bottle of coke. I am so sorry to live so far from Manchester otherwise I definitely would have been a loyal customer. Thank you guys!
