The food was good. Served is well. Only issue was they were playing content from YouTube one the screens. And some very indecent and inappropriate content was being played. So I requested the manager to please change it as we are Muslims and came here to dine with family and kids. And the content is not age appropriate. So they listened to us and apologised for it and changed it.

I recently dined at this amazing restaurant and was blown away by the quality of their food. The shawarma and lamb kebab was cooked to perfection, with juicy, tender meat and a delicious blend of spices. The fatayer was also a standout dish and had flavorful filling. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional experience.

Nice fresh tasty food, good ambience and friendly staff. Soup and tea is included. Good value of money. I will definitely come back and recommend others. I am not sure why people under rate them due to lake of parking or busyness of restaurant. It's not their fault whole wilmslow road is like that.

Went for the first time today with family to try this cuisine and must say how impressed I was with the food and service. Great value for money, the kebab and biryani was delicious. The aubergine curry was one of the best I have tried and will be back for more! The salad selection was good too and to end the meal perfectly.. was the complimentary black tea at the end. They accept cash and card payment.

I have been to this restaurant several times now. Budget friendly and nice atmosphere. They serve lentil soup while you wait for food and self serve qawa at the end of the meal is the best. They serve quiet good food choices on their menu. My children like their pizza and i usually go for the other grilled food. However, when opened initially their shawarma was the best. But with time the quality and quantity decreased and price increased. Their drinks are not at all nice and i will not recommend. They do not provide tap water which is a major downside and charge for a bottle of water is high.

We arrived at a very busy period and were seen to straight away by staff. After a short 5 min wait we were seated and given menus. We felt under no pressure to order quickly as you are in some restaurants at busy periods. We ordered a mix grill, lamb chops and hummus. We were informed at time of ordering that the food would take 25-30 mins which we appreciated being told and didn't mind the wait and it was well worth the wait. Some of the best kebabs and chops I've ever had. Also they gave complimentary soup and kava (tea) which is a nice touch. Highly recommended will definitely be returning.

Very delicious food and great service.. respectful staffs. We ordered food dine in, it was very clean and delicious.. wings are heavenly delicious and so tasty and sour.. if you go there you must have one as it was so tender and grilled well. There was a mistake in ordering food they didn’t charged for that, and the dish was offered complementary! Kurdish behaviour as usual!!

Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.

Brilliant services, free soup straight after you came in is very nice warm welcoming. Restaurant is very clean, have amazing services, staff is very kind and helpful. Food is so delicious especially I recommend naan bread and fish kebab meal. They have free tea on the side in cute little glasses. The only negative part is that they haven't any desserts in them menu but is forgivable because overall experience is very good.

Whilst re-living my university life nostalgia in the heart of Rusholme one night I happened to stumble upon this interesting looking dining establishment. Upon entering I was greeted with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere so headed straight for the counter to order. The menu was diverse but not confusing. High quality food choices which appear to be made with fresh ingredients. I decided to order the mixed mezze and lamb khouzy. Fast and friendly service with all staff welcoming and friendly. The food arrived quicker than expected so must have been pre prepared. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to heavily spiced (not necessarily hot) Pakistani food but I found the food quite bland. Perhaps the dishes are meant to be like this. I’m not sure. The mixed mezze was refreshing and recommended! The decor and ambience was bright and open giving them restaurant a nice warm and relaxing feeling. I’d like to come back and maybe try a grilled dish next time.

Slemani is well worth a visit, complimentary soup and unlimited Persian tea really puts this place above the competition. The meats are all grilled fresh to order, the variety and freshness of the salad is top notch. The hummus and baba ganoush are so creamy. The house chilli sauce is on another level and washed down with ice cold fresh ayran, Slemeni is a must visit for any middle eastern meat lover.

The best Kurdish restaurant in the city . Always packed but always looking after their customers unlike other restaurants in the area . They always offer delicious food and my favourite dish is their chicken kebab which is the best in the country. I go their constantly and never disappointed with their food and service. I absolutely recommend it to everyone.
