A lovely little cafe serving Indian style fare with a western twist, alongside western style fare with an Indian twist! The food is exceptional and the Vegan Beetroot Latte and Oat Milk Chai are both must trys! 💚
Visit Aunty Ji’s regularly, love the delicious chai and food that tastes as good as it looks! Generous portions, and one of the nicest/original veggie roasts I’ve had. Friendly staff and a cosy place to eat, highly recommend.
Delicious food and great service!
Nice cosy little place with a selective menu and lovely selection of teas. I would Definitely recommend it.
We had The butter chicken Curry although it wasn’t spicy it had good flavour.
The Fried chicken pieces were amazing definitely would recommend trying these!
The Nan sandwich tastes amazing and good value for the quality and portion size this is my go to.
The only thing we tried which wasn’t as good as the rest of the food quality we tried was the Samosa, it was a little bland and the texture was mostly mushy potato. No I’m
We turned up with two toddlers, a baby and a dog and it was no problem, the guy running it regularly cleared our crockery so the toddlers couldn't stab themselves with the (blunt) knives etc, the food was incredible - try the Frenchistani toast! They do a variety of chai teas, the Masala was fantastic. A tasty and relaxing lunch here. He also let us know in advance that he was closing at 5, so we had time to organise the chaos! Thank you.
Easy to get to with plenty of street parking near by. Good amount of seating with clean tables and interesting decor. There was a lot to see just inside the shop with its own selection of boardgames too. We ordered Chai for the table which tasted really good but unfortunately came cold. However the staff were really friendly and readily reheated it and even topped up the Chai. You get your own small kettle of Chai per order which makes it good value for money as it was only £3.30. The food was good and portions were large. Would recommend for brunch or breakfast.
We had actually planned to eat somewhere else but we were going past and decided to give it a try.
To be honest it was an amazing experience in every way!
The environment was really nice (which my wife really enjoyed) but for me, the food really stood out!
We both loved the fresh flavours and combinations!
I don't usually suggest vegan options either but the vegan Brownie was really good too!
(think of a Brownie cookie!)
Overall was a great experience and will definitely be going back!
Lovely food, super friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
- some feedback:
Decor is lovely but chairs are uncomfortable
Food sometime takes a litte longer than expected.
Excellent food and service, if you want to try different coffee, here big variety. Lovely taste. For breakfast or brunch, different choices, different from the standard type of breakfast
I was trying to find a good coffee place and I was surprised with the vast array of things Aunty Jis has to offer-A mix of traditional and English breakfast with spot on coffee!
Plus they have a lot of comfortable seating for working
Based on Stockport Road, you can find yourself enjoying some chai, coffee and food @auntyjis. All the meat is halal and there’s a 15% discount for dining in every Thursday - who doesn’t love a discount, eh?!
Our favourite dish of the outing was the Chicken Naanwhich [£6.95], with perfectly cooked tandoori chicken on a yummy nan topped with a variety of sauces and pomegranates
And if you’re a fan of Avocado, The smashed avo on sourdough naan [£8.95] is definitely the one for you. It had smashed avocado and sliced avocado to fulfil whichever texture you’re after and the poached egg was perfectly gooey
The Masala Chai and Dirty Chai [£2.90] were beautiful - mellow, not overly spicy and very soothing. In the Dirty Chai, the bitterness of the coffee was just right in balancing out the creamy sweetness
