The restaurant opens at 13:00 and we found not many people inside. The service was attentive and friendly. The two of us ordered the signature "World Famous Killer Prawns," which came with 30 prawns, fries, and onion rings. We also ordered mussels with tomato sauce. There were no hot drinks available, but the food was served quickly. The dishes were very fresh and delicious; we chose the moderately spicy flavor. Highly recommend this place for shrimp lovers. The only downside was that our ordered mussels were not served; we're not sure if it was due to a busy kitchen or the forgetfulness of the staff. Nevertheless, it's a highly recommended restaurant.
Everything is amazing here! The prawns, calamari, fish, beef tenderloin, beef ribs, rice, and everything else on the menu including theirs milkshakes! Everything is halal here with no alcohol served. There's also a prayer room in the restaurant that is always busy. I would recommend reserving a table if you are going in a big group.
To be honest I never left satisfied from eating prawns in a restaurant as there is not much meat on them... Until I've been here. Very good food, but don't exaggerate, it's made in sunflower oil and that's bad for our health. I definitely recommend it as long as you don't do it too often 😁 here's the before and after photos. The restaurant is not chic but the food is worth all the money, the service is very good
Disable friendly and very accessible♿️
A word of mouth recommendation and I didn’t regret. Showed up and it was packed! Lovely maitre d’ sorted out a great table and drinks then came the mind blowing food! Fresh, seasoned perfectly. Have to go back! Highly recommend.
The most amazing seafood restaurant in Manchester, so refreshing to have a top class meal. The venue is close to the Hilton hotel, the atmosphere was lovely, definitely not one for the gram, but the flavour of the food makes up for this! Service is impeccable, staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and always at hand. We just left so satisfied, this place is worth multiple visits and worth every penny spent!
We visited Manchester and happened to walk past here, it looked tasty so we booked the next day. It was tasty and well priced.
Pros: value for money, tasty
Cons: probably not a first date place!
Not a con but its probably worth booking as people were being turned away it was so busy.
Amazing food, fresh, delicious, clean, recommend the mountain prawns. Nice friendly staff Excellent service, especially Dean who helped return forgotten items. In conclusion, I highly recommend eating at this restaurant.
I absolutely loveeeee this place! I really wanna go back here. Visited on my birthday July 10th. The staff were very welcoming and polite. My bf and I made our order and were shocked at the amount of we got… THE TASTE was E V E R Y T H I N G! I definitely recommend stopping at Jimmy’s Killer Prawns.
Keep up the good work !
The Prawns were delicious! We ordered the £42 for 50 Prawns. You get exactly 50 as we counted. Definitely enough for 2 or even 3 people as you get some rice or chips with it plus a trio of sauces. Please remember this is a strictly Halal restaurant, and they do not serve any alcohol. So don't complain there's no alcohol in your cocktail.
Amazing seafood restaurant that I would go to more often if I lived in Manchester. Me and my wife eat here every time we visit the city and are never disappointed. The quality of the food is amazing and it is very reasonably priced This is hands down the nicest meal I have ever had and I've eaten in a lot of places. The staff are wonderful and very polite and the toilets are very clean. The only thing that's not even worth mentioning is the background music is sometimes rather loud, which is always turned down if you ask.
