Nice independent sandwich shop offering a decent selection. Really nice staff. Quick to get the orders out, very reasonably priced.

Shirley's is a great little cafe/deli that's tucked away on Brazennose St. They've got a wide range of meals, from wraps to breakfast stuff, to various sandwiches. All of it tastes great and is really cheap, and the ladies who work there are all very friendly!
The one thing I don't like about Shirley's is that it is quite small in there, and due to how popular it is, it can get really cramped and busy. A recent renovation has alleviated this somewhat, but if you're planning to go there for a lunchtime meal, get there early. There is seating inside and outside, but if you want a takeaway, you will have to stand and basically be in the way (and have other people in your way).
Still though, that's a minor niggle for what is ultimately great food at a great price, with great staff.
A two minute stroll from the office brings me to Shirley's Sandwich bar where I am assured of excellent service, a plethora of food choices hot/cold or a mixture of both and a friendly smile :-)
They have prices to suit most budgets and great meal deals on offer.
If you haven't tried it yet you don't know what you are missing.
Shirley's is the best sandwich shop in Manchester we go everyday. The staff are friendly and the food is great!even my friend Gugar who is very picky loves the place!

Its mark I use to see you every Monday an Wednesday for sausage toasts. Hope ur all ok I cant tell u how much I miss popping in .
