The Edinburgh Castle Pub - Manchester - Photo album

Definitely the best pie I've ever had in my life - incredible! The rest of the menu also seemed interesting and the other items we ordered were well made, although the partridge was a bit of a tricky one to eat/share.
All the dishes I had were amazing. The menu is seasonal , using local produce. Loved the asparagus dish, the tomato salad and the charred aubergine. They also cook proteins to perfection ! I wish every gastro pub would try to serve that top quality food. Reasonable prices. Just go!
A hidden gem . The tastiest food I’ve had . Beautiful selection of local selected produce. Cooked with care and love .. the attention shows in the taste . Highly recommended
Some of the best food I have ever tasted. Staff were helpful and there was a nice, chilled out atmosphere.
Simply divine. We went for Sunday dinner and the place has got a great vibe - two courses are now £30 and £35 for three. For the quality of the food, thought that was pretty reasonable. The beef dinner was incredible - genuinely doubt we will have a better one. The mustard creme fraise 🤤 the service
Upstairs dining area is lovely and intimate, service was great and the food was superb. The cheese doughnuts were a fantastic way to start the meal.
It was very busy in the area after Man City match. Pub was full. Upstairs in restaurant was a lot calmer but you could still feel the atmosphere all around. The staff were excellent and informative. This definitely not pub grub. A lovely evening with family.
What can I say? This place is going to become VERY popular VERY quickly! The waitress who sat us down was lovely and friendly (I think she was from NZ...not that it matters 😆). She gave us our menus and explained the dishes as there are a few sharer plates. We were then served by the manager for th
Only popped in for a quick drink before having to go for a meal. Reasonable prices for the area which was a huge positive! Noticed they do food. Which looked really nice. Staff were friendly. Relaxed atmosphere, will go again definitely
Visited here Saturday evening with my girlfriend. The food was amazing fine dining in a very cool setting. Our server was superb and always checking if everything was ok , she was also very funny and made our evening. Will definitely be back.
Amazing first Sunday roast experience. Everything was delicious, with the vegetables being the unexpected underdogs. My slight gripe is that you should be offered a steak knife. The crispy pork skin proved quite difficult to cut through.
The overall experience of food, service, wine and atmosphere I cannot fault. Recommendations from staff were extremely knowledgeable and I will definitely be returning.
