Brilliant food, great choice, there are the usual suspects but lots of things I'd never seen before which is good. Nice addition to Didsbury! There's the usual social vibe of these places and the prices are as you expect.
When we walked past Mad Giant it wasn't immediately obvious what was on offer inside. There was just one menu on the window from Chaat Cart but that was enougth to entice us to venture in. To order a specific meal from one of the many different vendors inside you need to actually place your order direct with them and pay them individually. Once you know this it's fine but it was a little confusing to start with. We ordered from Chaat Cart and everything we ate was delicious. I had a halloumi frankie which is fried halloumi and salad on a flat bread base with gunpowder fries. Very tasty.
We’ve been here twice now and have been really impressed with it. Great choice of interesting foods (and drinks!) catering easily for a couple of veggie parents and slightly picky kids. We’ll be back lots of times - can’t wait to see it in the summer too.. :)
Really enjoying this as a new addition to the Didsbury high street, something that I think it has really been missing. Chaat Cart is by far my favourite. The bench seating is a little cramped and wobbly and I haven't actually seen the toastie stand open yet. Will be really interested to see how it gets on. It's really lovely that it is dog friendly.
Just what Didsbury was screaming for! Great selection of craft beers and the food is amazing. So much choice! Dog friendly too which is always grand 😊
The Cambodian dishes were great. Good beer selection on tap. Great atmosphere!
