Lovely Sam Smiths pub in Burnage. Really nice interior.. Bar, lounge and snugs(no pics of lounge as too many patrons and Sam smiths no phone policy) it's had a refurb and it's done tastefully. Big outside area. Serves double 4 and a light mild on draught along with the usual. Serves food and has a dartboard . It's a sam smiths establishment so cash only, no phones, no swearing.. recommended 🍻

Traditional pub, no mobile phones or swearing just a chat or read the paper. The current managers, Jon n Kerry are lovely too. The food is great too. A specialist menu would be very welcome.

It’s a lovely Sam smith boozer and there’s some gooduns oancheater. It’s actually the best Sam smith in Manchester. All the staff are lovely and the food is worth up to twice what you’d pay for it. The landlord and staff look after the taps like prodigy footballer. They keep it on the straight and narrow and it produces the goods. If only they had something to do with Gazza or Best. Float down and drink on deepest, darkest Manchester 👍

A great place to relax and have a good chat. No mobiles, no music. Good old fashion fireplace with dancing flames. But the bonus is, a great Sunday roast. With pub meals during the week, Sun In September is a pub worth visiting.

Lovely Sammy Smith's pub with a nice beer garden. If there was a kids play area we'd live there.

Lovely small and old style pub. Sits in its own grounds with nice garden. Nice food and beer. Not expensive and good value for money. No loud music or TV blasting away. Hard to believe you're close to a busy city. You'd almost think you're in the lake district national park 😊 especially in winter with the roaring fire.

Open again, Old Brewery bitter available. Prices hiked, but still reasonable. Good menu, although not tried. Delightful ambiance on the terrace or in the garden. Friendly licensee and staff.

This was our first meal out since lockdown. It was a lovely sunny day so we sat in the beer garden. The food was delicious, good sized portions and perfectly cooked. The staff we amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The Sam Smiths bitter was great, our first beer for months that wasn't out of a can and we enjoyed it so much we had more than one. I can see us coming back many times in the future.

Been a couple of times now and I love it. The building itself is packed with history and the interior decor is a salute to events in Burnage gone by. Warm welcome each time we have been and the food is delicious. John-Lee, Kerry, their daughter and the team are so friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Looking forward to going back when I'm visiting Burnage again!

Good old fashioned pub, doesn't look like a pub from the outside. Locals seemed decent and the people working behind the bar are friendly. Sam Smith's beer, so cheap and decent. Brewery bitter well kept. Only complaint was the toilets stunk a bit when I was in but I wouldn't let that put me off

Lovely pub. Interesting historical building , beautifully restored. Welcoming atmosphere with open fires. Thououghly approved of the polite notices requesting no swearing and no phones/wifi. Cheap and excellent beer and food. Deserves to be very successful after its recent reopening. It's great to have a nice pub like this within walking distance of our house in Burnage.

Used to be very run down then closed. Sam Smiths took it over, we went in last night staff were friendly and great service, Sam Smiths have a digital free policy NO TVs, phones, tablets or laptops which means there is a hum of conversation what a brilliant idea go to the pub for a drink and a chat. Beer is excellent and a pint of Taddy lager was £2.30 so two pints and change from a fiver. Brilliant we will be back to try the food.
