I've been at BBC festival too and the food for me was amazing!!! If you asked why the price was so "expensive", the guys of Golden Nugget explained to you, as they explained to me, that all food was maked with fresh ingredients and the potatoes cut by hand.
Can you understand how many hours it will be needed for that?? More expensive, but with quality!!
By the way, in your pic I see at least 7 potatoes!! Maybe you need glasses and better taste!

I am a huge fan of the food that this company serves. The price is super competitive and the quality is way better then most restaurants that I usually go. I hope they open a restaurant soon, I became a real fan of the food. I see a bright future for the chef of this company.
Last Monday in Manchester I tasted a smoked pork hash brown for the first time and it was fantastic. Good job Golden Nugget!!!
One of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. It's good to eat real fresh fish.
