I visited yesterday for the first time since Coffee Cranks took over at Alex Park. I'm not one of those people who get hung up on coffee perfection, but I have to say that was one of the best coffees I've ever had. Service was good and my daughter loved her hot choc, though it could've been in a more kid-friendly cup. I wouldn't want her to break one of your beautiful cups. Minor criticism though. We'll be back!

The best coffee in Manchester. Choose any of them. I suggest flat white with oat milk. Amazing!

My husband said the coffee was so good he forgot to add sugar and he said the ice cream he and the kids had was amazing.

Amazing coffee! Had a chocolate flavoured thingy at the Manchester Vegan Fair in Chorlton... can't remember the name of the drink but it was so nice! Great project, great people, thank you! :)

Brilliant addition to Manchester street life. A pretty cool and very eco friendly idea but as a bonus it is staffed by pleasant and friendly people. I hope it sets an example that many other roadside businesses and stall holders can follow.

Lovely place, with such amazing coffee, one of the best I tasted in UK. Quiet place, totally animal friendly and many options including vegetarian and vegan. Workers are great and kind. You don't expect to find a place like this in a middle of the park. They have English breakfast in their vegan version inclusive, cakes, salads and sandwiches. Prices reasonable to spend between 6-12£ per person.

Very cute cafe in the middle of the park. I had the houmous and pitta, soya latte and soya Breakfast tea. Loved the friendly atmosphere and picked the perfect sunny day to go. The tea and coffee were actually the nicest I've had for a while! The inside was super clean and bright, the staff were all lovely and there was a good selection on food and drink bits. I'll definitely be back again in summer time :)

Manchester’s parks usually have lovely cafes with a very independent character and delightful selection of guilt free treats. Alexandra park is no exception. The size and open space make it a tiny bit better than it’s closest competitor in Chorlton. A good venue for children’s birthdays.

Soul warming delicious hot chocolate on a cold afternoon is absolutely the best! Their takeaway cups are biodegradable which is amazing and the food is lovely too. There’s a slight wait but you can taste the difference in all the love and consideration that goes into preparing each order. Lots of veggie/ vegan options. Highly recommend and they also have bird seeds on sale for the ducks and the lot.

Came here for an quick work meeting with a colleague and volunteer. The coffee was amazing! I have grown up in this area and Alexandra park is lovely. It was so nice to sit and look out at the amazing views. The staff are so friendly. It’s a diverse team which I liked and you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this cafe. Some people do bring their dogs in but they go to the outside area.

Great great coffee and vegan and veggie food... delicious even if your a meat eater like me. Lovely staff; dog and child friendly you would be crazy not to pop in if your in the park! Down side is that it doesn't open until 10am and closed on bank holidays which is such a shame as it is utterly a fabulous wee café and I would certainly recommend.. delicious coffee!

Lovely staff, chilled atmosphere and (very importantly) always excellent coffee. Oh and the food is really good too! Love the salad plates. There's also a veranda outside so you can choose to sit out with a view of the park, even if it's raining. I especially love going when the second-hand bookseller is there; you can get yourself a coffee and a book (and a seat on the sofa if you're lucky!) and while away an hour... A solid favourite place to frequent in Whalley Range :)
