Such a great place to watch sport and have a good drink, I don’t visit often because I don’t live in Manchester but everytime I’ve been it’s the place I want to go, staff are great, service is great, and definitely would recommend to an outsider since I am one myself
Booked a booth for one of the England world cup games. Staff were great. Service direct to the table was spot on. Booking a booth is worth it just not to have to que at the bar! Great atmosphere. Well done guys! �
Reserved a table for the Champions League final and couldn't be happier with the experience. Great atmosphere and a brilliant system in place to allow us to order drinks without leaving the table. Huge shoutout to Jess, Vinny, Alex and Tahlia for looking after us - will definitely be back for the World Cup!!
Never been to Walkabout before Saturday night and OMG what have I been missing!!! The music was absolutely amazing and I can honestly say I have not had so much fun on a night out in years!!! If I had put the playlist together myself it wouldn't have been this good. Excellent night!!!!! Thanks guys!

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, food was lovely, quick service, and much bigger portions than expected. Cricket was on, partner was happy with this as not many places ever put it on. Lovely relaxed environment!

i absolutely love coming here. i have a hard time walking, (i use a stick) and the bartenders will bring me my drink, and they are always so lovely about it. particularly sharleen and georgia and kurtis….they were so lovely and accommodating, they helped me pick a wine i would like, and i will be back!!
Sharleen, Georgia and Kurtis were absolutely lovely. We come here frequently and are always greeted with a smile and wonderful customer service by them! Would highly recommend for the drinks AND the 5 star staff! <3
I came in here with my husband last weekend and asked for the sound for the football to be turned up and the music turned down, but they refused even though it was a London derby match between Tottenham and Arsenal and there was a Tottenham fan in there who was also asking the same thing. We're Man City fans and would have stayed all afternoon if both matches had been guaranteed to be on with full volume and no music, so had to go somewhere else. Shame really, cos I do like this bar and the food menu looks good. *Edit in response to your reply. Wouldn't normally be fussed about watching London teams, but it was a crucial match in terms of the title race, hence my surprise it wasn't on.
This was a slick pub for an afternoon drink, where options are presented clearly that include a summer special menu! The pub has a nice feel with strobe lights, replica objects and live music, making for relaxing time after being out a lot. I enjoyed a pint of Heineken for around £3 at a comfortable table, where cleanliness was maintained, after being served by the lovely staff!
Came to visit whilst we were down from Glasgow, and we had so much fun :) service was fast, drinks were fab, also Mark and Ben behind the bar were so attentive & nice, also class patter - would come back just for them ! Def coming back next time we’re here
Arrived at Walkabout early, found plenty of seating in a welcoming atmosphere. Received excellent and prompt service, and the double vodka was accurately measured, perhaps even a bit generous. Took advantage of great deals on Jägermeister, which we appreciated.
Place itself was ok later on staff come and moved tables to make space on dance floor and was quite abrupt staff just grabbed our table and shoved it back and knocked over full drink which we pointed out to him and said you could of waited 2 mins they never replaced the drink also leaving a friend walked outside with a drink and rather than the bouncers telling him to go finish it inside they just snatched it off him and said you had your chance and refused to give it back with another bouncer squaring up to us pretty rude and aggressive really so that was 2 full drinks we had lost due to staff and bouncers. Crowd inside were all friendly with no trouble only issues we had were with their staff which lost us over £15 worth or drinks.

Staff were all very polite and helpful, coming back was the first thing on our minds after the gig.
Service was excellent, food was excellent, fed 6 of us very well for £36. Would definitely recommend. For families with older kids on a day out looking for good value 😍
Called in early on a Sunday afternoon. Quiet to start with but soon ended up busy. Loved the old walkabout off deansgate which closed a few years ago but this bar has got a good few things going for it excellent bar staff who actually look after customers. Food & drink was spot on can't fault the place.
Popped in here a few times, and it's always great. There is always sports on the tele and a nice atmosphere, and there's always a deal or 2 on drinks.
Highly recommend for great friendly atmosphere, tasty food for low price and vegan friendly. Dtaffs always lovely and only £5.50 for a double vegan burger and chips which was a great portion size and can add a drink under the deal for £1 more for soft or £1.50 alcoholic. Would recommend going here rather than spoons tbh
Good place to catch up with friends before a movie or just to centrally meet. Good staff and quick service. I did end up going back! Had some snacks too this time and the food is good.
Recently visited walkabout for the first time in a while, was served by liam who was lovely and super fast - made the experience great and tunes were banging too
