What can I say exactly except I was blown away here. I was recommended this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The seekh kebabs were juicy, the masala fish was chunky and very well seasoned but the crown of the table that night was the karahi ghosht. I don't know what they put in it but it was beyond delicious. It had a buttery texture and the meat fell off the bone. The tandoori nan were fantastic too. I would definitely return here!

Exceptional taste. For the 30 minutes I was there and eating the food, I didn't miss Pakistan at all. What a delicious Lamb boneless Karahi & Chargha! If the chef was a female, I would have offered to marry her just so I could have this food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grateful to the owners of Daawat restaurant for offering pure desi taste in England. Wish they can open a branch near Manchester University so I can eat even more often. Ps: apologies for the bad pics, my focus was on enjoying the desi food.

This is a family run business and I would highly recommend supporting them because of their tasty hygienic food. We had their lamb karhai with garlic naan and the meat was very tender and the naans were perfect. The Bihari boti could be improved though as the texture was not right. Would still recommend.

Ordered a Chicken karahi, Lamb karahi and a Mix platter Mixed platter contained 2 Chicken wings, 2 lamb chops, 2 pieces Chicken tikka, 2 pieces behari boti, 1 lamb sheesh kebab and 1 chicken sheesh kebab The chicken wings were alright but the rest of the mix platter was πŸ‘ŒπŸ’―πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯. The chicken karahi was of decent taste but the lamb karahi was very tasty. Full of flavour and the meat so soft, literally just fell of the bone. Definitely RECOMMEND to anyone to go pay a visit and try out the food. Food was quality from starters to mains....

Having tried quite a few Lamb Karahis over the last few weeks in Manchester and also in Yorkshire at places which are highly rated, I can honestly say the Lamb Karahi here at Daawat beats all others hands down! Also really nice customer service provided by Usman. Will definitely be bringing more friends and family back here to try out this hidden gem.

Tried the boneless lamb karahi, very good but just lacked that little depth of flavour. Will definitely try the on the bone version as that's what was missing.

Went here with 3 friends ordered 2 mixed platters and 1/2 kilo Lamb karahi both were exceptional with 2 kulcha nan 2 roti. Everything on the mixed platter was cooked just right but the Lamb karahi was best ive had in quite a while the meat was so soft you don't have to chew. The place is more of a cafe than a restaurant but very clean with a sink to wash your hands next the counter, all the food came very hot the roti and nan were of high quality. I think I have found my new regular spot.

Small seating area, staff nice. I usually take away Degi Chicken (steam roast) as a quick meal to eat at home which is not bad for the price. I think the prices and quality of other items are not very competitive. Accept card payment without limit.
