This was my first experience of Korean cuisine and I have to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is intimate but filled with a lively atmospheric buzz. Whilst waiting you can smell the amazing dishes being prepared in the kitchen. I had the vegetarian fried rice, portion size was generous and it tasted so fresh, light and the perfect amount of saltiness. Next up was the Korean Fried Chicken, juicy, crispy and well seasoned. Similarly to the egg fried rice it wasn't too heavy or bloating and it left space for dessert. The Korean pancake, as someone who enjoys his dessert this was delightful. All the flavours combined worked perfectly and whilst it might look small it definitely did not leave you wanting more. Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Always good to explore and try new things. I will definitely be going again sometime.

I want to start this review to say thank you to Eunji for being one of the best hosts ever. Your personality and kindness is lovely and I’m so glad you have a great business to share your fantastic Korean food with the public. I love Korean food, but to have ‘authentic’ Korean food is quite hard to find in these parts as it usually has a western spin on it. Half of our group were vegetarian and mentioned that everything was fantastic for them. Our food was also amazing and we couldn’t get enough of it! We’ll definitely be back soon to get some dessert! 🤩

I finally came here last weekend for my first ever foray into Korean food, excluding Korean fried chicken. The food was delicious and so were the soju drinks! Especially loved the pajeon, looking forward to coming back. Perfect place to eat in the sunshine 😃

We recently dined at The Thirsty Korean and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant earns a solid 4 stars out of 5 from me. One unique aspect that caught my attention was the quotes displayed in the bathroom, adding a touch of creativity to the ambiance. The food was not only delicious but truly a highlight of my visit. I couldn't resist trying their kimchi fried rice, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me craving for more. In addition, their beer selection was exceptional, with a special mention to the inclusion of local Manchester brand, Shindigger, on tap. It's always a pleasure to support local breweries. Overall, my dining experience at The Thirsty Korean was wonderful. With the addition of consistently outstanding food, a unique ambiance, and an excellent beer selection, this restaurant stands out as a gem in the dining scene. I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place is a gem. My fiancé and I have just been for dinner this evening and I had to leave a review straight away because of how great it was. The atmosphere is so friendly and lively, the service is lovely and the food was fabulous! We had the steak noodles, the seafood pancake and the fried chicken and all of it was amazing. Despite being very full we had to try the dessert and it was so worth it. We're sad to hear this place is closing at the end of March but we will follow them wherever they go next!

Fantastic service and many vegan options on the menu. We had Pa Jeon pancake, Aehobakjeon pancake and Rabbokki gochujang dish which was plenty for two people. We enjoyed having shots of soju at the end of the meal.

I had such a fun night here. EJ is your friendly host and provides excellent recommendations that hit the spot. I shared a pancake for starters and I could have ordered the same again, had it not been for the massive rice dish I had for a main. The plum wine was a welcome accompaniment. Make sure you check out the quotes in the toilet! I can't wait to visit again, especially as this is a dog-friendly restaurant.

This has become one of my favorite spots in Manchester for so many reasons, and it’s crazy impressive how many options there are considering it’s usually just the owner in the kitchen and bar! (Also a good selection of vegan and veggie options!) Service is always great, I love bringing everyone I know here. After pretty much having had everything on the menu at least once, I can vouch for all the food!
