Great coffee and friendly staff. One of the few places in town that transitions well from morning to evening serving. The window seats are some of the finest for people watching in the city centre. Highly recommended!

Everyone knows I'm a coffee junkie and I've been lucky enough to travel around the world drinking the stuff. I also very very rarely review anything!! So take as read that this is one of the best coffee's I have had. It definitely is in my top 3 and add in the great surroundings, friendly staff and awesome food offered!!!! Cannot recommend a visit highly enough!!

Just refreshing to call into a coffee shop that doesn't have prepackaged foods. Was buying in Manchester and just wanted a nice salad. Perfect, freshly made chicken and feta cheese salad. Nice and spacious and very friendly staff. Thank you

Just had a Black Eye. Like a caffeine taser. Awesomeness. The aesthetic of the place is beyond anywhere in town, it's like an art installation that sells you coffee and beer and gin and ice cream.

The best coffee I've ever tasted, & this is no exaggeration, can't stay away from this place. Had a sandwich today too, was top quality, fresh ingredients & absolutely delicious!!

My favourite coffee shop in Manchester :) Great staff, the cakes are great and the coffee's even better. Seats at the front by the window are brill for people watching.

Been many times to this lovely cafe with plenty of space to sit and sip coffee. A good range of specialities hot drinks, such as beetroot latte. Lovely latte art by the one of the barista. Breakfast and brunch were good with vegan friendly options. But there was once my breakfast bun was quite burned on the top. Also breakfast bowl has quite strong flavours (featuring onions) for the start of the day which might suit some but not others. Service can be slightly slow at times especially when it gets busy so be mindful of this if you are in a rush or have a train etc to catch.

Great vegan breakfast sandwich. Friendly service, if a little slow, but I was not in a rush so no problem for me.

First dine in meal when landing to Manchester, such a pleasant experience to try out the smoothies and brunch. Very healthy choice of ingredients and I appreciate the well thought of plate presentation:) the staff were all friendly and definitely a must go place to grab a coffee or tea with a laptop. One tiny improvement could be the ventilation. The oily cooking odours were quite strong to make me feel uncomfortable to breathe in continuously, would recommend to utilise a more powerful range hood at the restaurant.

Stopped by for second breakfast and I'm glad I did. The iced coffee tonic was a treat I haven't had since I was last in NYC, and the avocado on toast (which comes with eggs as standard!) was delicious with generous portions. 4* because the dishes were very good, but I'm not aching to return for more.

Nice coffee. Reasonably priced - especially for a city centre café. I liked the atmosphere too. I'll go again.

A hidden treat! No idea from the outside just how lovely (or large!) this gorgeous little coffee house is. Plenty of seating, if differing styles to suit everyone. Lovely food choices. Loads of vegan sweet treats too. Boozy drinks and delicious coffees. Try the Turmeric Latte and Beetroot Latte for an alternative sip of heaven. And the staff are top-notch, warm, extra-mile types who make for a welcoming environment. Loved this place!

Food is nice, had fry up and the meat, the sausage from both dishes was VERY good. Coffee was good too, cold brew was one of the nicer ones in city centre. Prices slightly high after service charge..... Would recommend? I think so....

Having never tried before was pleasantly surprised how big this place is. Nice vibe, good breakfast choices. Will be back. Only reason for 4 stars was because we couldn’t get juices/smoothies and the coffees we ordered were cold.

The food was absolutely amazing, highly recommended, staff were alright, could get better, there are rooms for improvement in terms of their behaviour , we waited so long for our food also. The whole salon needs ventilation , as it’s quite humid with no air flow. Whole experience was good.

The staff are absolutely wonderful! Their service is impressive always one step ahead of the game. They know their customers well and are very personal, warm and welcoming. “Foundation coffee house” is where you’ll find the Ladies in groups sharing and having a laugh whilst having each other’s back. Foundation coffee house is home to the best tasting coffee and familiarity even if it’s your first time visiting it’s like you’ve always been there at some point in your life or on your journey. Drop in and say hello to the ladies. They’ll be happy you came.🦋🦋💝💝💕🍰

This coffee shop is a great spot for co-working although you have to get down earlier in the day to secure a spot as it gets quite busy! You can probably find a seat around lunch time as people vacate but be quick. The music can be a little experimental but in the co-working area it's a little quieter so not too bothersome, and there's quieter spots if you need to take meetings. There's plug sockets under most of the booth seats and little lamps on each table. It was ideal in the heatwave as the air conditioning was a glorious escape and is an OK temp in winter but wear a jumper. All the staff are super lovely and friendly and although the coffees are slightly expensive you don't feel pressured to keep ordering while you work so I think it's fair. The cakes are great but would love more options for my sweet tooth and i havent eaten from the main menu yet. I love the coffee but my fave drink so far has been the roasted marshmallow hot chocolate which is a real treat...

Fantastic place to grab a coffee and have a seat. It is not too busy, the ambient is modern, clean and relaxed, and you can get work done or study as the wifi is excellent. There are a coffee shop space, bar space and co-working space too. And it closes late! So no more rush if you like working or going out later in the day and you are not much of a morning person. Brilliant, this will become one of my regular places.
