First stop after flying into Manchester for a 10-day UK trip after taking the train from the airport to Piccadilly. This is a quick walk from the station if you’re craving a bite and a pint. Rustic boozer with a certain charm. Lots of groups of friends in here enjoying beers and crisps. A warm, conv
Nice little pub in a good location. Staff are all friendly, there’s some nice space for larger groups and the drink options are varied at good prices. Toilets are downstairs and there’s plenty of screens throughout if you’re wanting to follow the sport. I’ll be back!
Great city pub. Good people and good beers. Service slow though - probably due to it being busy. Could use a couple more staff on match days possibly downstairs. Good boozer.
Nice pub, friendly staff and good food in a great location (not far from the station). Veggie burger available which is good to see. Sports on TV but also good music in background.
Found this when looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Next time I am near the railway station I will definitely pop in again and I would definitely recommend it.
It was brilliant!!! The patron is lovely and the food and atmosphere was much better than expected!!! Fantastic British draft ales, and a great selection of lagers too. Great to watch football!!!
Been in to visit for the grand national, well accommodated and made me and the lads feel welcome! The cityzens arms is wonderful! Will be back
Really nice pub just down the road from the train station. Ended up in here as it was near our hotel, and we were looking for somewhere to watch the football. Liked the place so much we came back most nights for a drink. They've got sports on the TV but also good music on in the background. Friend
Hidden Gem in Manchester. Food was great, not a vast menu but we enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere
Forget your trendy bars, or places you only drink in, some others can see you. Just off main road, this is a proper boozer. Friendly staff, great range of limited edition ales and regular popular drinks. A throw back pub, meant as a compliment.
Used to come here regularly as a footie pub. Back in 2004 saw Utd beat Arsessall in FA cup semi ..day after Milldew beat Sunderland at Old Trafford thus stopping Flat being at Wembley to see Sunderland v Utd. Seen many great sports events here. Good real ale selection. Wily Fox from Wigan was very g
Really nice pub tucked away near Piccadilly station. Good grub, kids menu but I'd say more of an adult pub, sport on TV and a good selection behind the bar. If you want a table here when a match is on, you're probably better calling to reserve.
Iv been to Manchester for a day out so many time and when you get off the train I never go on that side of the road always stright to spoons, but what a mistake this has been. Little hidden gem you must attent
Last few pints last night before heading back home to London. Used to live round the corner from this place and always have enjoyed a pint in here! Staff are always lovely, chatty and welcoming. Food looks good and hearty portions (friend of mine ate last night) and they have a good selection of la
A cute pub tucked away near the station! Good service and pretty good food!
