Into the Gathering Dusk @ Barbecue was a dream, sadly not a permanent feature but when it's on I strongly recommend a visit for the turmeric based cocktail which basically solves all your physical ails whilst getting you merry. What's not to love?
I love the venue which is great for a morning pop-in coffee and perhaps a plate of avocado on toast whilst your doing your rounds of Chorlton shops.

Great coffee, nice pastries, dog-friendly, bit of a tardis for seating. Run by a proper coffee geek ;-) --update: it changed hands a while ago, so no longer run be the coffee geek (who opened his own place on Beech Road), but it's still good.
Best coffee in Chorlton! They have a good selection of cakes, pastries and light lunches - including vegan and gluten free options. It has a cool, laid-back vibe and a friendly team. Especially Scott, the American guy. And it's dog friendly too!
So cute! Definitely come here over Costa if you can! Just try it. They roast and grind their own coffee. True coffee experience! Don't expect your latte to be scalding hot -- that's not how true coffee should be served.

The coffee here is excellent. The cakes looked good, but I didn't try one. The interior is stripped back to basics. Interesting light fittings made from tree trunks.

Really like the relaxed atmosphere here, great coffee and some nice snacks too (avo toast is great value and very tasty) well worth a visit if you're in the area!
Just bought a mocha here to take out as it was close to closing though quite easily a place I could spend time here sipping some amazingly good coffee and whiling the hours away.
Great coffee. Breakfast rather basic and slow. Nice staff and space.
