Went on the recommendation of some colleagues and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The carrot and butternut squash soup was delicious. They have a good selection of sides that go along well with the mains. Bright and cheerful atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
Thank you to the management staff who resolved my complaint, they dealt with my complaint to a very good standard. This place is busy in a weekend so best try and order during the week for best results. Good food.
Beautiful food, delicious.
Have been here before and will go here again, it is family friendly staff are really welcoming, and Yes they accept cards lol.
Parking is behind the restaurant.
The quantity and the quality of food is great.
I had mixed hot pot it was definitely delicious.
I had the empire state burger and I have to say it was the most filling burger I have ever eaten.
All the different parts to it were well cooked and it was so big I could barely hold it and eat it (the picture I shared doesn't do it justice).
The only thing that wasn't quite there for me was the flavour, I mean it was all nice but I'd have loved some sort of underlying flavour running throuout to complete it.
Food brilliant, big portions, good vibes, and parking in the back if you are lucky.
The reason for 4 stars 🌟 is the waitress. It seemed like she had her lips 💋 sealed by the owners, didn't have any smile on her face, was very moody, and probably didn't understand any English as she kept looking at you in a strange way, when we left, we said Thank you yet she stood there as if saying thank you is Haram in her culture.
Think she needs to go back to school.
Will definitely go again, bit pricey for a burger joint but if that waitress is not serving, I'll take my family again.
Located on the popular road for food on Bury Old Road is Jungle Grill, just a couple doors away from Yayas.
Got the Steak Cheese Burger Platter which was £15.49, although it was a good portion and presented well the beef steak in both the mixed steak and the burger itself, was average at best and didn’t complement either parts of the platter.
A friend had the Tiger Burger which consists of a buttermilk chicken fillet and sliced beef steak, with the feedback being the same that the sliced beef steak actually took away from the burger.
Would recommend the place but try choose a dish without beef steak would be my recommendation, as everything else was truly delicious.
4/5
I got the honey burger and was impressed by the juiciness and quality of the meat. The flavours were on point and the ratio of salad to meat to toasted bun was all on point.
Amazing food and great service
I haven't visited jungle grill in many years as I just saw it as a "standard take out"
However one of my friends recommended we try it again as they have refurbished the store and I gotta say it didn't disappoint
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars one of the meals which didn't have any sauce/marinade on was abit dry and bland. Unfortunately just choose the wrong item from the menu!
However was clean food (i.e not drenched in oil)
Other two meals packed full of flavour
Also got a NHS discount which is always a bonus
The first thing I did as I entered Manchester was to step into Jungle Grill. I love their food and super happy to see what great ambiance they have created after upgrading their eatery. Must have is what's in the photo! P.s don't forget to add the white garlic mayo sauce
Absolutely beautiful food, very discreet upstairs with wash and toilet facilities and family sitting areas. A small place to pray also. The service was extremely delightful. Accessible parking and only 12 minutes of the motorway. Thank you and May Allah The Almighty bless you.
The Cheetham Hill branch of Jungle Grill is the best one in Greater Manchester. I've been to the Rochdale and Wilmslow Road one and whilst both are good, they both pale in comparison to this branch.
For one, their food is amazing. I went for the Chicken Habibi Steak with peri fried alongside salad and boiled veg & a tiger burger meal with turkey bacon - so a peri fillet topped with sliced sirloin steak & turkey bacon. The only thing I could fault was the boiled veg, which was boiled to death - but who cares about that?! The chicken was cooked to perfection, not undercooked and not overcooked - cooked just right. Topped with chilli, sauce and cheese on a bed of peri fried. Absolutely beautiful.
The burger was amazing. Chicken was again, cooked perfectly. The sirloin steak was juicy and flavourful and the turkey bacon gave it a lovely smokey flavour.
The service and wait staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. I genuinely cannot fault them whatsoever. As people they were great to get along with and have a laugh with and as members of staff, they performed their duties and in my opinion, go above and beyond their call of duty.
I will be visiting again for certain.
Nice food, go here a lot. Nice refurbishment and seating recently.
Smash turkey burger is😍 Standard buttermilk burgers are delicious too.
Sometimes food can be hit and miss as we go here regularly but it’s still pretty nice. Definitely recommend to try.
Will upload more picture soon, hopefully will have more than just empty plate pictures
Good big portions. Quite big seating area with separate seating for families. Food was delicious too. Mashed potatoes needs a little fix. Other that that everything was spot on.
First time I went to this restaurant.. The Interior was rather plane with the name jungle grill I though it would have like a rainforest/jungle theme... We went late in evening and it was cold the heating was not turned on but when we mentioned it they brought a portable fan heater.. It did not make much difference but at least they tried.. The menu had a lot of choices, set menus or individual. We went with set menu bug also asked for a few extras to be added on which they did.. The portions were decent size I could not finish mine so remaining did a take out. We did ask the spice level to be hot but we got it was mild so we had to add extra ourself. Overall nice food..
The service was really fast! They have upstairs seating too which meant there was space for all of us as I went in a group of 8. The Korean chicken was delicious which is difficult to find a halal version of, however I did feel like a couple of the burgers were dry and a little overpriced.
