We went for a spontaneous meal to Suki Suki on Wednesday evening and were pleasantly surprised. It has a very cosy and nice atmosphere upstairs. The food was excellent, especially the bang bang chicken - highly recommend! There was so many good options on the menu, so will have to return. The staff were also friendly and helpful
They graciously accommodated our needs. The cuisine was of exceptional quality. The portions were substantial and thoroughly enjoyed by all. I particularly savoured the pork belly.
Checked out this fab spot to sample their mouthwatering pan-asian fusion grub and gorgeous cocktails x
We tried the following:
》Korean chicken wings | Chicken wings glazed in a homemade spicy korean sticky sauce
》Char siu bao | Bao stuffed with BBQ Char siu pork
》Suki Suki Ramen | Fried soft shell crab, tofu, pak choi, egg and enoki mushrooms in tonkotsu (creamy, pork based) broth
》Prawn Katsu Curry | Coconut-based curry with Japanese panko bread crumbed prawns and seasonal veggies, served with rice
》Rhubarb & Apple Collins | Pink gin, rhubarb purée, apple liqueur, lime juice and soda
Everything that we had was so enjoyable from the addictive korean chicken wings & fluffy char siu baos, well-seasoned ramen with springy noodles and perfectly cooked prawn katsu curry to the refreshing cocktail. These hearty, flavourful dishes were simply satisfying - please do check them out if you're in the area, I highly recommend it.
