Great place..great people..great dessert. Came with my family and we were all extremely pleased with the dessert and customer service. By far the place on the curry mile..The manager ‘Haider’ was great and made sure we were well looked after 👌👌
The best place for desserts in Manchester, also the staff very polite , nice and friendly.. had my daughter party there today , I have to say that I'm really glad that I choose Moonlight's upper hall to have an important occasion like this .. helpful staff, clean tidy place.. kids area is the best part , coz we both( adults & kids ) enjoyed it to bits .. thanks Moonlight .. you're the best .. highly recommended..
Fantastic service no doubt about that, delicious things to try from as it was our first time. Especially there are lots of staff around to help or to ask something, also it’s very organised and the staff can take over anytime. The thing my family didn’t like was people would push in, it was busy and the lines were NOT organised.
Best dessert place I know. Not best in Manchester, best everywhere. Sometimes the cakes are so good I want to cry. Moonlight is the best thing.
Great place, loved my Ferrero Roché Ice-cream shake. Taken abit of time but worth it. First time I've been since the move from the old place.

A small but busy place amidst rusholme's curry mile which serves tasty ice-creams and milk shakes... the falooda is the super best on the list.... ambience and seating is something tat needs improvement....
My favourite milkshake and ice cream place in Rusholme! Love their milkshakes especially ferrero rocher milkshake. Their faludas are also one of the best ones in Manchester. I have tasted faluda for the first time here and Im hooked since. Moreover, the prices are so cheap so its pocket friendly.
Placed perfectly in the street known as Curry Mile in Rusholme.. After having dinner, me and my friends were craving for dessert. We thought of having Ice cream Falooda. This is a place to be, if you are craving for an Indian dessert. Good portion of icecream scoops. Very hygienic and well priced (1 falooda for 2.5 quids). Yummy and satisfying dessert in the streets of Manchester. Tongue buds were quite happy too.
Pretty good experience. Cost effective. I got the ice cream but my friends got falooda and chocolate cake and everything was amazing. Would definitely recommend
As part of my birthday celebrations went to Moonlight for dessert. I had banana dream boat and it was amazing. It had the perfect balance of sweetness, cream and bananas. We were served by Azim who was friendly and attentive.
Great place to stop and have desserts. Unlike a lot of places, they offer flavoured milk in the milk cakes (the correct way to serve this). One of my local places used to offer this but new management changed it to plain for all types of milk cakes.
The kunafa was a lovely surprise, it is bright orange though, almost artificially bright, making you doubt it's origin 😅.
Really nice dessert place, shame it can't become my local as we visited this place whilst in the city. Great stop though, would stop by again.
The food is very good. We ordered Kinder Bueno waffles and the sweetness is just nice. One of the employees there, Komel is very nice and gives us very good service. I recommend everyone to go here. Good food good service and most importantly good music
Me and my best friend always hang out at Moonlight - it's our go-to for a catch-up. The waffles they do are extremely delicious and we always crave them! Lovely staff and a very nice atmosphere inside as well. Prices are pretty affordable too. Would highly recommend for both family and friend outings.
Extremely busy, the queue was outside, weather was not good, had to squeeze inside cause of the rain, finally when I ordered, 25 min wait, lots a seating area, went upstairs ad down stairs was absolutely packed, the staff brought out desserts 20mins later, not many cake options on the menu very limited, considering how busy it is they could do with more staff and the place to be bigger, very clean, and presentable desserts and the place is very presentable too
Went today, their service was excellent, I ordered their cookie dough and it was fresh, warm and amazing with a beautiful presentation of everything, including the whole mood of the dessert shop. Would 100% recommend checking the place out. Their customer service was better than so many shops I've been to before with kind and friendly staff. Definitely will be visiting again as soon as possible!
The only place in Wilmslow road that I can actually give a good review. Place was nice with a good vibe, busy but enough tables to find a spot. Staff was friendly and the deserts was lush as they say. Nice presentation. The best milk cake I've had and the cookie dough was on point.

Hands down- the best ice cream in Manchester. There's lots of flavours to choose from. Staff is very polite and lovely.
There was a misunderstanding regarding our order (only because we didn't know what to expect) but there was no faulty with it whatsoever. One of the personnel came to our table to ask if everything's ok with our order and if it's not he'll be happy to give us something else with no charge.
We said there's no need for that, the ice cream was amazing and we're happy with the order, there's nothing wrong with it. However, 15 minutes later there is the same gentleman approaching our table with waffles with Nutella (2portions) and bananas and ice creams AND a smoke bomb. Me and my brother were absolutely shocked as we haven't complained nor we thought that order was not good.
The gentleman said he likes to make his costumers happy and that this was his gesture of appreciation.
This is the first time something like that happened to me and it truly left me speechless.
This is a true meaning of going above and beyond for a costumers.
I want to say thank you once again for the hospitality and for this beautiful gesture.
I'll come back with my family and I definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes the ice cream as much as I do.

A very nice place at Wilmslow Rd, Manchester. We ordered ice cream, of which I would highly recommend Orange Sorbet, which was super refreshing!
We also tried their famous Kunafa - which was pretty good but not the best I have had. Overall a good place if you're craving desserts 🍨
Have tried this place a few times, most recently in September 2023. On this occasion I ordered milkshakes. Good choice of milkshakes which are on average £5 a shake.

I recently dined at Moonlight, and I must say, their Lotus Crepe is absolutely delightful! The flavors were fantastic, and the service was excellent. A must-try if you visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
