Visited this place on Sunday to watch Elephant Stone. Decided to give the food a try which we both glad we did . Excellent and value for money . Nice selection of beers had a dj which played Sunday evening tunes . Staff were friendly and helpful . Then we headed down stairs to watch the band . Small intimate and brilliant place to watch a band . Would go back in a heart beat . Yes has a good vibe . One fault the gents toilets stink . Only let down on a very good gaff. Certainly go back again

This is a great venue. Came to watch Ghost Woman, they were awesome. Great gig. The Pink Room is the perfect size for a gig. The bar on the ground floor is quirky and comfortable with plenty of seating and plants, plus a live DJ. There is an outdoor garden and smoking area across the road at the side of the venue as well as a rooftop terrace. You can also eat here too, Greek food by Gyros and Pizza. So, there is no traipsing round trying to find food before a gig, everything in one place, and plenty to keep you entertained for the night. This is also very close to Oxford Road Train Station. Will definitely keep my eye open for more gigs here.

We visited the Yes music venue to see Ciel perform in the Basement room. Prior to the gig we enjoyed a couple of drinks in the main bar and had a pizza from the pizzeria adjacentto the bar. The pizza was £14 and was OK to share. The Basement room had a small bar but no toilets. Although the tickets were fully sold out, the room was not packed to the rafters (unlike other Manchester venues visited). The lighting and sound system were OK. A nice venue that I would visit again.

Great roof terrace great music on all floors lovely staff even nice staff on the door which is so refreshing to meet nice door men in Manchester, there's a older gentleman with a beard who always remembers me and another door man with a nice honda who's always lovely to chat too. Another lady in the kitchen who I sometimes chat too about dungarees and overalls and other denim garments I've been coming here for years and I've never ever had a bad time here, easily my favourite venue/bar/club In the whole city Keep up the great work to the lovely staff at YES :)

The gig space in the basement downstairs was small but intimate and afforded great views of the stage. We went to see the wonderful Alaskalaska who performed superbly with studio quality vocals. Unfortunately the gig space is not wheelchair accessible. The bar is frequented by students and has a fun and trendy vibe, bar staff and security guards were all very friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating on the ground floor when you enter the building. The toilets were clean and located on the ground floor.

A very cool bar with a great atmosphere. Always busy with multiple different floors with different things going on. My favourite is the top floor where the terrace provides a sociable and chill place to hangout. Staff are often friendly but have sometimes just talked to each other whilst I was standing right in front of them waiting to be served which was kind of weird. Good music, decoration and lighting. Would recommend especially for students / young adults.

Great gig venue. First time I’d been there. All staff from the door through the venue to the bar were lovely friendly folks. Would definitely go again.

Great place and has everything anyone ever needs. It has a great selection of floors to choose what you want, two of them being great venues for live music. The bar is big enough to never have to wait for too long to quench your thirst.

Great bar and live music venue in the heart of Manchester's University quarter. Spkit across several floors we attended a gig in the Pink room. Great acoustics and good bar prices. We'll be back.

We had a brilliant night in YES for the Black Keys after party Record Hang. Was amazing to be close up to the band while they played records familiar and not to an excited and appreciative crowd of fans. Great location and atmosphere.

The team in the pink room were fantastic, made some very last minute accessibility adjustments for a friend who needed them to enjoy the gig we were attending. Particular shout out to Ben who was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Went to see Daniel Avery on a Sunday afternoon. Great venue, atmosphere and decently priced drinks. Staff are friendly. Great way to wind up and wind down on a Sunday. Ground floor bar is a bit small but they do move the tables out of the way

Love this place! I feel like there's something for everyone here, you just gotta pick the right floor for yourself. The food is great and I love that you still get pizza in the middle of the night. The roof top terrace is quite unique for Manchester and really pretty.

Lovely bar ,5 minutes walk from Oxford Rd station. Went there to see a band in the basement, also there are other rooms to see live music. Place had a good vibe about it. Drinks well priced, but the Amstel lager in the basement wasn't great. Had a great night, will return. 🤗

Nice bar near the University, reminiscent of Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds, but slightly more polished. Great rooftop area and bar. Will come back to try the pizzas and see a gig another time.

I would like to give a great big shout out to Rose, one of the Duty Managers at Yes, who went out of her way to provide excellent customer service recently when I needed help after visiting this great venue. She went above and beyond the call of duty and it was very much appreciated. Lovely staff, great friendly venue, went to see Darlingside in the Pink room for the second time here and the sound, ambiance food and drink quality and prices are really good. Just avoid the Euro Car Park next door, sharks.

I had a fabulous evening at Yes on Tuesday the 15th of August for the Hurray for the Riff Raff gig. Yes has everything friendly welcoming people, bar, great pizza and gyros, D.J. beer garden, roof terrace and the Pink gig room. There was a cool relaxed atmosphere about Yes evident from entering the front door. Special mention must go to Yaseen for organising an accessible seat for me in the Pink Room so I could enjoy the show pain free. I'm already planning another day trip to Manchester and Yes. Next time my friend Jayne will be coming too.
