I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect.

The best sushi in town! Had their sushi platter which was amazing! It was really busy hence service was slow but Matthew was quick thinking and brought me a bowl of Edamame for free! Dessert was light yet still manages to pack a punch with the umeshu marinated grilled pineapple. Highly recommended.
Overall a wonderful sushi experience! The sashimi was really fresh and delicious! The maguro sashimi selection is a must have for starters! The unadon was smoky, fatty and delicious!! Definitely a must try for sushi lovers!
Best Japanese food in Manchester! Always fresh, always seasonal, always fantastic. Service and food are both brilliant. Make sure you book in advance, as the restaurant is quite small.
