This cafe always has very friendly staff who are quick to help and provide a great service. They have a great range of food to suit all, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free plus lots of meat options as well! Good place to sit and work, always easy to get a seat. Great free wifi. Overall I'd highly recommend here for a drink and a bit to eat!

Fantastic venue. Love the early morning coffee and pastry for breakfast equally as much as the after work drinks on a sunny afternoon. Great range of food options as well and always a fantastic meal when I've eaten here. Staff are all friendly and welcoming.

One of my favourite coffee places in Manchester. Lovely atmosphere, very hipster and quiet, good people watching. You can have scramble eggs on toast and a glass of orange juice for a fiver. To the manager: I was expecting the orange juice to be freshly squeezed, but considered the price I'll close an eye this time!

Friendliest staff around, order at the bar, take a seat, table service, relax and enjoy! Great coffee, hot chocolate and beer, with great 2 for 1 offers throughout the week. Family and dog friendly too. my favourite stop off after work.

My favourite coffee shop in Manchester. Not only is this funny enviro-friendly shop amazing at coffee but the wide selection of outstanding cakes including a great selection for vegans is out of this world. The breakfasts are great and the sandwich station makes what you want in front of you, haven't tried their hot meals yet but intend to soon, the staff care and the atmosphere is definitely not that of a corporate franchise. Worth a punt!

Really nice vibe inside. Ciabattas are to die for and the coffee is great too. I felt comfortable working inside which was nice, cause sometimes places make you feel unwelcome as soon as the laptop comes out. Staff were all nice and friendly - looking forwards to coming back :)

Could be more advertised from the outside, as I would never guess that they serve vegan food without my friends recommendation. Not too bad range of vegan, vegetarian, meaty options with healthy and fresh ingredients. Friendly and informative staff. Good atmosphere, clean and hygenic. I'd recommend that place for anyone with any diet and age.

Very nice café/bar in what is now a bustling student community. Good food and selections of beer and wine. Lunch menus are great and the staff are very pleasant. Super lunchtime spot, especially when the sun's out.

The Sarnies are devine. I had a roast beef on a huge baguette with salad. The beef was seasoned beautifully with pepper and the honey mustard to go with it had a great kick to compliment it. It's open until 9pm so if you fancy a cheeky tipple to go with your food, then they provide stiff drinks as well. Please give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

I really like the place, the prices are way too high though. I tried the "paella" and I´m spanish that is definitely not paella, not even close but it wasn´t bad . Just wish they choose another name for their rice lol . The staff normally are nice even though some times they have been a little bit rude. TBH i really like the place like it´s expensive and stuff but ilike studying there it feels like home. Just wish they understood that the place is in Hulme and the prices are way too high

I was looking for a place to sit and have a coffe, and I found Grano, nice interior, with very polite staff!! The food is bio, with vegan options, I did not try yet so I cannot give my opinion on it.. I took hot chocolate for me and my child with coconut milk, it was good!!:)

Really nice place, has a good atmosphere. Food is delicious and hot drinks are good too (available to take out as well as sit in). Also takes payment from MetCard which is a plus for students!
