Yet another little Chorlton eatery and drinkery which is always full of yummy mummies and trendy Chorltonites who are inexplicably able to afford to spend all day in cafes despite the fact they appear to have no regular means of income. Although the food menu is not particularly extensive, they serve several sandwiches including plenty of veggie options and a bacon and egg ciabatta sandwich at the weekends. At £4.15 for a tuna toastie this is somewhere I've never eaten but I can vouch for the delicious juices and smoothies and the comfy interior of this café. The ginger spice juice is delicious and if you're suffering the effects of the night before then you can order a 'detoxifier'. As James states there is also a community notice board to tempt you with all manner of yoga, pilates and Buddhist meditation classes which I'm sure will work wonders alongside your detoxifier. All very Chorlton.

It really is amazing what a simple notice board will do for your business. Battery Park's notice board is close to pulling down the support wall upon which it hangs due to the amount of support it is showing for local businesses. That little notice board warmed my cold cold heart, making me feel like I was back living in a time when community spirit still existed. On the strength of this notice board alone I'm awarding the Battery Park Juice Bar five stars and supporting it for next years Nobel Peace Prize- hey, if Obama can win it for nothing more heroic than simply not being George Bush then who knows?! In fact, I might make my own case next year on the grounds that I haven't been nasty to my little sister in ages and I'm not called Adolf.

I never went to this place when I actually lived in Chorlton but now that I've moved down the road and am currently off the booze (for health reasons), Battery Park seemed like a good place to go. And they do more than just juice, there's a good selection of teas and coffee, as well as sandwiches, salads and cakes, and at pretty decent prices compared to other cafés in Chorlton. It's slightly oddly shaped, having to go up a steep staircase to order your food, but they will bring it to your table. There's even some tables outside, for those rare days when it's actually dry and warm enough to eat out there. Tis nothing too fancy but it's a nice little place to go for a brew and a cake and a chat, give it a try

I've eaten in Battery Park Juice Bar on a couple of occasions. The second time I went was because I enjoyed the first time so much. Battery Park Juice Bar is a dogeared, yet charming little spot, with tables outside in the summer and sofas inside for the loungers. Staff are very friendly here too. Initially I went in to buy a juice, since I'd heard such good things about the berry or ginger options, but when I saw the sandwich of the month, which was The Chicago Muffuletta (Ham, Smoked Cheese, Salami with an Olive salad of Stuffed Green Olives on Ciabatta), I couldn't resist. It was divine, and I'm sorry, much more filling than any juice could ever be. The second time I came back because I wanted to order the exact same sandwich. As luck would have it, they were still making it. Great little spot to fill the gap.

Fantastic cakes that are never the same two days running. The coffee is wonderful and as for the smoothies! Oh yes and the sandwiches. Simply stunning. This has a shabby chic feel and there are loads of notices and community items on the huge wall notice board. There are a number of tables and chairs outside. Inside there are a couple of comfy sofas and loads of stuff to read. The staff are really nice and very welcoming. There is no pressure to drink up and go. The counter is up some steep steps but you only go up to order they bring your order to you(good job as I am VERY clumsy!)

This gorgeous little cafe has the right idea for me! what with its shabby chic decor to the "to die for'' cakes! I have my own smoothie maker at home, and after trying many different variations, I just don't seem able to recreate my favorite one they serve here (Raspberry Razzle) They also serve up drinks with more than a 5-a-day benefit, with a detox or energy boosting formula. If you are finding it hard to choose between the great selection of lovely sandwiches on offer... then help is on hand with a sandwich of the month option! always very tasty!

Best cafe to work at in Chorlton, as long as you don't camp out there for too long. Always a table free, food and drinks at very good prices. Little old fashioned (haven't been to a cafe playing the radio in a long time!) and they don't like people to just sit on laptops for hours (not sure why as it's always pretty empty here) but otherwise they are really friendly.

Really nice strawberry milkshake. I also had a caramelized onions + goat cheese sandwich that was pretty good.

Lovely little cafe with a homely atmosphere. I had the soup of day, which was tomato with spicy lentils and chickpeas. My partner enjoyed the really quite filling feta cheese salad. We both had one of the juices and both drinks were very tasty. Service was friendly enough and we both walked away full.

Great place to get a bite to eat and a cofee. If you fancy a health drink they also provide the best drinks here. Lovely polite friendly staff also. Vibe and energy levels are great here. P.S. They do the best hummus and avocado sandwiches which is served with salad. Yum.

I haven't explored the full extent of the menu but I enjoyed friendly service a choice of hard chairs or couch to relax on, generous slab of cake (always important) at the same price I would expect anywhere else. Nothing ground breaking but an enjoyable experience. Would go again.

Small cafe that at first appears to be a greasy spoon, however looks are deeply deceptive. Excellent coffee with a wide variety of juices which are often produced there and then and an expansive menu of sandwiches, bagels and jacket potatoes with an almost 1:1 ratio of vegetarian options in a comfortable environment has meant that this is a place I keep coming back to.

The atmosphere was fine, the staff were fine, the decor was fine. The drinks that I ordered were quite nice and my companion agreed. The service was at times a bit slow and I noticed on their noticeboard someone had written an angry profanity about something being advertised there, however this is easily not noticed on my opinion. It was perhaps a bit loud but I will be going back if the occasion arises as none of this was enough to put me off.

Loved it. It was years since last time I came to this lively cafė about 10 years ago perhaps?Ckearly the huge competition in the area is working well for this little cafė: the prices are liwer than other cafés, amazing smoothies/juices/cakes(I had two slices of cake😋🤦) , VERY quiet (mostly solo customer working on their laptop etc /reading etc). The only "meh"was the espresso coffee :really bad; a part from that I'm impressed they've managed to remain the best café in Chorlton! Not an easy task. Thumbs up 👍👍👍👍
