Loved the Kunafe and Warbat so much. The latter had a cream filling between each filo pastry layers. Not overly sweet and it was fresh! Come after 12 for freshly-made Warbat.

This pastry house was a lovely find, hidden away on one of the small side roads from Wilmslow Road. The Manaqeesh b’il za’atar were absolutely delicious especially when fresh from the oven; soft, light bread and superb za’atar mixture with that wonderful sour hint of sumac. I got a small sample of baqlawa etc to try and can’t wait to return and order more.

Was great, when it was still open. But I just went there today, and it was closed! Shut down. Has there been a fire? There were a few smoke markings, and the whole place looked like undergoing extensive renovation. Hope they will be open again soon - best sweets and pastry for miles! Nicely dry, not as much drenched in syrup like at other places.

Amazing, simply amazing fresh baklava! Just WOW! However I cannot say that I felt welcome last time I went there, what put me off the pastries a bit... despite them tasting fantastic...

Located just off wilmslow road, this place is definitely a pastry house that everyone should visit. From their range of freshly prepared savoury pastry to their delectable and divine range of sweet pastry. (The Baklava- is my personal fave ) go out and try.

Love the food here for a taste of the middle east, the zahtar and spinach fatayer are wonderful and authentic. There are many other options to that are not as traditional but just as tasty. The Arabic sweets are all made on site and are the best I have had in the UK and the rival the best places I have tried in Jordan and Dubai. It's like some one took a traditional Arabic bakery are just brought it over to Manchester stone by stone.

My best pastry, or what we call "Mu-ajjanat", restaurant and bakery in Manchester, would highly recommend it to anyone who like to try the traditional middle eastern pastries that you normally find in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Prices are very convenient acceptable (3 pieces around £5 which is enough for two portions). With neighbourhood home delivery for over £10 orders.

The food was excellent, everything was great, and because the owner forgot to make us a specific kind Manaqeesh, he had surprised us with a free one!
